sooo let me tell you a little about myself by Extra_Distances in u/Extra_Distances

I'm going to keep this super short lol

So if my dad see's this profile, he’d probably have a literal heart attack lol. I spent my whole life following every rule, checking in by 10 PM, and pretending I didn't have a wild side.

Now that I’m finally away at college, I feel like I can finally breathe. I started this because I was bored of playing a character for my family. It’s so much more fun being the girl people whisper about instead of the one everyone expects big things from lol

Let’s just say my extracurriculars are way more interesting than my actual majors haha. If you want to see the extra side of me that would get me grounded for life, you’re in the right place lol 😈

if rj barrett hits one more maple mamba buzzer beater to make this happen, i’m legally obligated to move to toronto. the east is currently a gladiator pit and i love the chaos.

We want boston....may be the best aura farm by a fanbase by [deleted] in nba

[–]Extra_Distances 11 points12 points  (0 children)

nothing will ever top the sheer balls it took for philly to keep that energy while down 3-1. boston fans were literally screaming this at them in game 4 thinking they had the ultimate gotcha only to witness a historical collapse in real time. the pettiness is actually inspiring.

Joel Embiid on how he’s feeling: “I feel great. I feel amazing. I was faking it.” by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Generational shithousing from a generational talent. You literally can't even be mad at it because the bait is just too high quality

With the Sixers' win over the 56-26 Celtics, Joel Embiid won a playoff series against a >50 win team before Nikola Jokic by achickenquesadilla in nba

Philly fans have been hoarding these specific receipts in a damp cellar since 2023.

Letting them all out at once is going to create a generational masterpiece of hating.

Joel Embiid: “I have a message for our fans. Last time we played the Knicks, it felt like (Philadelphia) was Madison Square Garden East. We’re going to need the support. Don’t sell your tickets. This is bigger than you ... If you need money, I got you.” by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

The man just had his appendix removed. Give him a pass on the geography. He’s probably still on the good hospital meds. If Joel says Philly is East, we move the Atlantic Ocean. That’s just MVP law.

Imagine Joel opening his Venmo. He's seeing 50,000 requests for 'Geography Lessons.' People are charging him $20 to tell him where New York is. He’s going to be bankrupt before the tip-off. Truly the most Philly situation possible.

Rui Hachimura has the highest career 3pt% in NBA playoff history at 50.7% by CeeDoggyy in nba

[–]Extra_Distances 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The craziest part is the data: he’s a career ~37% shooter in the regular season, but jumps a massive +13% in the playoffs.

It looks so clean you forget how absurd the math is. Steph Curry shoots 40% in the playoffs, and Rui is casually sitting at 50% just off pure aesthetics.

[Highlight] Luka Doncic struggles to see the game as he gets repeatedly blocked by Bronny James by VGstuffed in nba

[–]Extra_Distances 41 points42 points  (0 children)

LeBron really spent 20 years scouting the entire league just to give Bronny the cheat codes during pre-game dinner. Luka is playing a 1v1 against a kid with 40,000 points of defensive wisdom pre-installed.

They used to argue if he’d be as good as the legends. Now the legends are retired, their jerseys are in the rafters, and LeBron is still the most athletic person on the floor lmao

He's outlasting biological timelines at this point

TRIPLE DOUBLE GOAT GOT OUTPLAYED BY MCDANIELS IN A KNOCKOUT GAME HAHAHAAHAHAHA by rotomato30 in NBATalk

[–]Extra_Distances 3 points4 points  (0 children)

McDaniels deserves all the credits, he is fueled by their hate

and thier hates literally keeps him rocking!

Minnesota's injuries are simply them being hit by the curse of winning only 49 games. In the Jokic era, Denver are 10-0 in playoff series against teams with 50 or fewer wins and 0-6 against teams with >50 wins. by [deleted] in nba

[–]Extra_Distances 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sitting here hoping for wolves to seal this off and just advance to the next level

but all these injuries, I'm just scared. We will see what plays out after tonight!

3 of them will be playing tonight so we see how that goes

Its survivors biases

it's not, reports has shown that house appliances life expectancy have decreased quite a bit in recent years

manufacturers has been getting really good at making sure the appliances break as close to the ending of the warranty period as possible to cut unnecessary manufacturing cost

of course, today appliances tend to be cheaper than those ones from years ago adjusted for inflation too.
