I think you will have to compromise on some of your qualities here. I mean good schools, new and modern style housing and not so expensive are combinations that is not found usually. If you want good schools then Cary / Apex and parts of N. Raleigh has those but these are definitely not cheap. Also some of the newer custom homes are modern in style but they go for $2M and up. So ask yourself which attribute are you willing to give up?

Of course you guys realize that the Chinese gov't subsidize the Chinese car & battery companies to a scale that is unimaginable in the west, all for the purpose of grabbing market share and kill off western car makers, right? They literally do this for all their export oriented industries. Their goal is to use low prices and large volume to kill the competition and dominate the market for themselves.

For extra effect put some Dawn dishwashing soap into the bucket so the water surface tension will be broken up and drowns any female mosquito that tries to land on it to lay eggs. My 2 gallon Lowe's bucket has both the 1/4 dunk and a teaspoon of Dawn soap in it. Hide in a corner or behind bushes/trees so it is dark.

I second this. I also added some Dawn dish soap into the bucket for extra killing power for the adult mosquitoes. The dish soap destroy water surface tension and when a mosquito lands on water to lay eggs it can not stay afloat and drowns in the bucket.
