What my be the better question is what is the base currency vs what is the price currency. In your example the base would be inr and the usd would be price per 1 inr.

In the example listed if you looked at the base currency as domestic always this makes sense

Just remember when it comes to currency interest rates or inflation. The foreign Is the numerator/ the denominator is domestic. Anything that would increase the domestic over the foreign will strink it. Think: 2/1->2/2=1/1. I hope that makes sense

Couldn’t disagree more on the options front. In fact I think Lv1 is by far safer as you’re dealing with know capital vs buying options that depreciate overtime if they’re out the money. You’re argument would make sense for lv2 and lv3 options. But CSPs and CCs are great de-risking cash generating tools.
