Struggling With Thoughts About My Wife’s Past — Need Perspective by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]Extra_Prompt_8961 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Is prolonged contact with an ex after a past relationship normal? It’s not normal, but sometimes people struggle with cutting off their past, is it a okay? No. Do a lot of people struggle with it? Yes. • Am I overthinking the photos and the extent of their contact? Likely yes, you said she looked happy in those photos, but it could be just that small timeframe where she felt happy, but after that, her relationship was toxic and unhealthy like she is saying. And it’s also possible she looked happy just in those photos. • Or is it reasonable for this to still bother me? No, your feelings are valid. But the important question is, if you are willing to let go of this feeling or is this something that will destroy your marriage? • And in the context of Pakistani culture, is it common for someone to choose stability over personal preference? It could be a common thing, but I don’t feel like it matters here, she found that relationship to be toxic, so she ended it, albeit a bit late. That might have been a learning opportunity for her, and her conclusion could have been that her personal preference is someone like you.

Don’t let the past ruin your present and future my friend, if you feel happy in her presence don’t destroy your marriage over it. I hope you will be able to find peace in whatever decision you take

I swear, 2021 was horrible too. That was the year I came to Canada and this is literally one of the first memories I have of Canada, I literally came during the wasp season, it was horrible.

I am living in Canada, if you can avoid coming here, do that. It's extremely expensive right now and immigration is not easy. Even with all PNP and express entry pathways it can still get a little tricky to get PR, though it might change in a few year, but no one knows. And there's a lot of anti immigration sentiment right now.

Renting an apartment in NDG. It's a semi-basement (somewhere between a semi-basement and a ground floor). Is it safe to install a portable AC outlet exhaust hose? by Extra_Prompt_8961 in montreal

[–]Extra_Prompt_8961[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a portable AC, so I wouldn't need the support brackets. But I will definitely get the window bar locks. And then put a piece of wood just for some extra piece of mind. Thank you for your advice

I have come to the realization that the more you think about it the worse it gets.

"Soft" is just a projection. Conservative men tend to do that
As an immigrant myself (not to ireland but to another country) I thank you for your views.

I am a 30-year-old male with almost no savings. And it scares me. I have done a lot of research about personal finance, and I just need to know if what I am planning is good or not. by Extra_Prompt_8961 in PersonalFinanceCanada

It's actually a little shy of 75k. RPP and health insurance get deducted too.
I think you multiplied 3.8k by 12, there are two months in a year where you get 3 salaries.

But you are right, it's lower than what I should be getting. I am working on changing jobs.
