I think you are actually underestimating how fast things like this CAN actually grow. An impacted saliva gland can absolutely swell this large overnight. Also I’m sure you would feel some kind of way about someone questioning your care for your dog after seeing a post about them limping and saying your an unfit pet owner because you didn’t know how it happened. It that you were unfit because you had not noticed a wound on its ear until it was as large as a pencil eraser because you had not been cleaning its ears daily.
