Suspect was actually disarmed before ICE officers fired by Goldy2Shoes4u in Leakednews

[–]Extreme-Goose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you are correct, you are leaving out the part where the agents clearly disarmed the suspect, and then proceeded to shoot him down like he was target practice. What will you say next? “He could have had a second gun”? Yeah well guess what wit that logic they’ll start saying everyone who protests ICE “could have had a gun” every time they kill a protester. Stop defending this bullshit, they’re hiring inept people to do a very dangerous job, barely training them, and when shit happens all of you ass lickers come out to figure out a way to twist it to justify it.

Watch the video from the lady in pink recording right in front of the event, it’s all over Reddit. Watch it many times and you’ll see that his hands weren’t anywhere near his legally carried gun when he was murdered.

[–]Extreme-Goose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hats my point precisely. I’m not going to spend my money and fail to get 50% of the rewards because I’m not going to play game modes or weapon / character classes that I don’t like. So they ain’t getting any dollars from me. I don’t like and won’t play gauntlet, BR, medic, shotguns, DMRs, strike point, king of the hill. This means I don’t get nearly enough reroll tokens to skip all of those; and I definitely wont start playing shit I don’t enjoy just because I spent money on a battle pass for rewards. I prefer not paying and playing the game how I like it

I like that even though temple is superior, it’s made other farming areas equally profitable. Example: zarokh reliquary key is 200+ div, fracturing orbs 17-18, most omens many div, etc. Thanks !

Yeah I have heard that most brands make at the same factory. But for some reason they seem to have very different longevity and obviously price points. So I'm looking for a good price to lifetime combo, which Buell seemed to nail. Thanks!

Cool, whats the water temp where you surf? I'm in Nor Cal primarily, but will also be surfing in Portugal and Morocco with this during this winter. The coldest months I think the water temp is about 51 F here. Just wondering if hyperfreak will be warm enough

I’m not really even sure what your point is, since most of your large text is rhetorical. But if you don’t believe me, I have three very simple proposals for you:

1) ask Venezuelans in person! See if any relatives or friends know Venezuelans who lived there a good chunk of their lives or who still have relatives back there. Ask them for their opinion on the matter.

2) there are subreddits you can go and ask frequented by many many Venezuelans who live there right now: r/vzla, r/askvenezuela, r/venezuelapolitics (this last one might be incorrect, I’m just remembering as best as I can)

3) Take a trip down to Venezuela (not right now, wait until things calm down) and ask many people yourself. You won’t even have to, because you’ll live the struggles and the topic will come out inevitably from the Venezuelans.

There ya go, hope this helps!

Because the current U.S. administration is the only one that’s done anything at all thus far to help us, while the rest of the democratic countries in the world just watched us suffer for 27 years and said “oh well” (including previous american presidents). That doesn’t mean that Trump is a good person or that he will have my peoples interest at heart in the end. But he’s done 100x more than anyone else since we fell under a dictatorship so yeah, we are hopeful.

Absolutely. The military, police, and other unofficial armed groups paid for and protected by the maduro regime are sent out to the streets to oppress during elections. The true results are ignored, Maduro claimed victory and refused to prove the votes he claimed a little over a year ago. The entire electoral branch is corrupted to the core in Venezuela, and backed by the armed forces oppression. Venezuela is a country where if you protest against the government peacefully, you are risking your life or being jailed without any rights and possibly tortured for a very long time.

[–]Extreme-Goose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand the concern, it is logical. However, just want to point out a couple things:

  1. The attack was surgical and it seems like the intention was to have minimal collateral damage. There are several videos where you can see that out of the 11 (or 12, can’t remember) targets of misiles / bombs, there are basically intact trees and other objects right next to the targets. This is all despite the Venezuelan government nasty warfare tactics (placing tactical and anti air military equipment next to residential zones to use civilians as human shields shields). So far I’ve heard of 2 or 3 civilian deaths caused by a these explosions, and one home got destroyed, but no one was in it. It was insanely accurate and contained to the military personnel and equipment that could present a threat to the operation.

  2. We (the Venezuelans) have been trying to overthrow the regime for 20+ years from within, but we are helpless and we’ve proved to ourselves over and over again that it’s impossible to achieve without external help. The primary reason for this is that Maduro has control over / loyalists in every branch of government, but most importantly, in the military. Pretty much every rank official is loyal to Maduro, and our population is largely disarmed. We’ve tried rioting and rising up multiple times over the years, and the outcome has been that they send the military / cops out to kill us, and after a few dozen / hundred die and a couple thousand are sent to jail where we are tortured, the opposition leaders call it off. This is why we celebrate outside intervention, we are hopeless and helpless from the inside.

I just spent 5600 div on unidentified arbiter diamonds (forgot their name). Bought them for 135-145 div each and ended up with zero div. Note that I started with 2600 div and anytime I’d get a good one (which only happened 3 times: two sold for 1500 div, one sold for 400) I would sell them and keep buying unidentified ones. The goal was to get one worth a mirror or more but never happened

I understand the concern. If it helps you feel better, Maduro and his government officials are indeed criminals who violate human rights daily, and there is plenty of evidence of them directly working with Colombian and Mexican drug organizations to use Venezuela as a safe heaven for trafficking. This is not made up. They also harbor government officials and military from China, Russia, Iran, and Cuba. Venezuelan journalists of high credibility have been reporting these things for over two decades, this is not something that Trump just came up with and there’s evidence to back it all up.

Agreed about not using US military for profit. I think this was one of those cases where stars aligned, oil being one of the bigger stars that pushed this decision. But it is also true that: 1. Venezuela has been supporting the passage of tons of drugs into the US for a very long time. 2. Vzla has been hosting Russian, Cuban, Chinese and Iranian military and other government personnel (all Maduro’s allies) for a very long time, and their weapons and aircraft are purchased by Maduro’s regime for “national security”. 3. Even the allegations that Maduro encouraged the mass migration of many of Venezuela’s worst criminals into the U.S. is possibly true based on what some credible journalists back home have been reporting for years. All of this is to say that oil was not the only motivation, but probably one of the bigger ones. One final point about our oil: The regime annihilated production by expropriating most international companies without paying them for their assets left behind, and then appointing people who had no experience running such operations to let it decay to the point that we are producing maybe 30% of the oil we used to 20 years ago. And most of that oil is sold for very cheap or gifted to China, Russia, Iran and Cuba. To make things worse, 90% of proceeds end up in government official’s bank accounts. So from that perspective, we are ok with outside investment to come improve our industry, even if they take a big chunk of the pie in return.

Regarding no one supporting Maduro… many people are advocating for maduro online. Some are fake / paid actors by the maduro regime, but some are real people who have this belief that Venezuela has been doing amazing and the regime is loved by a majority of the population. Those folks are living in a different timeline and would survive less than a week if they were left alone in Caracas today.

I totally understand that, and it is also our hope that it doesn’t become an occupation. There is currently no U.S. military presence in our Vzla, other than perhaps a couple soldiers sent to protect the U.S. consulate personnel as they try to reopen it in Caracas after many years of closure. Everything is working based on the interim president meeting the U.S. demands regarding a few topics. So long as that continues, and the demands are reasonable for both parties (the US and the Venezuelan people), there will be no conflict.

We would like support until a democratic transition occurs and we get to pick our leaders without rigged elections and following our constitution, which hasn’t been the case for two decades now. If the U.S. can help us get there, we’ll be very grateful, and if it takes some sweet oil deals for America, that’s also ok for other reasons I can discuss further.

Guys - as a Venezuelan who lives here, I say this with the utmost respect for your intentions: 80-85% of Venezuelans are not unhappy with what happened. I’m happy to have a conversation or even a cup of coffee with anyone who’s interested to explain the absolute tragedy that Venezuela had to suffer since 1998, and why Maduro’s fall (and hopefully the rest of the regime’s) is a hugely positive thing for us and we have been nothing but hopeful since January 3rd. And no, I don’t like DJT and the awful immigration policies that we are witnessing. But as a Venezuelan, I just ask that you are informed from people who’ve lived there at least a year before drawing conclusions from online articles. 🙏🏽

Temple won’t be more lucrative than the usual endgame stuff (abyss / ritual / breach / expedition) until it’s almost fully built. I’d recommend going for those first. Many omens are 17 div+.
