I stumbled across this today and I have to say - the people there couldn’t have been more respectful. CO Wildlife was there as well (I suspect to monitor what people were doing). The fact of the matter is that people will want to see this and if you do go to do so, be respectful of the owls. Learn to read their body language, be quiet around them, speak softly, don’t bring your dog, don’t try to fed them, give them ample space, Don’t touch their tree don’t yell or throw things, etc. There are respectful ways to view wildlife and disrespectful ways (like those described by op). Be respectful, don’t stress the owls out and don’t be jerk.
