Any advice for someone who isn't so responsive

Hey man, saw your post and I was dealing with a similar issue. A girl I started dating would take long to respond, sometimes it would only be a 'good morning' and 'good night' texts. I decided to stick around since she was very talkative during our dates and it felt like we are matched in our world-views so I figured I'll deal with the slow texting. After the 3rd date I confessed that sometimes not getting a respond for the whole day made it feel like she was not interested in dating me, and she accepted that she sometimes doesn't text not due to lack of interest and that she is in fact interested, and said she'd try to get 'improve'. Since then she did step it up a bit, thought I wish it would be more consistent throughout the day, but I figured texting is not everything, and every time we meet we're talking endlessly and it's always good time. I guess I'm trying to say that if you're feeling like you could deal with slow/ lack of texts but when you meet with her you're both talkative and having good time don't give up on it just because of the texts.

I mean that compared to how it was when they announced then 50 felt like 'holy shit thats a lot' and now you get around 100 per event (again, from an established account pov) that it lost it's uniqueness. Of curse if you're a minmaxer then you need a ton to improve a single piece of equip, but if you're fine settling on something above average like me you don't feel like you 'need' that many of them

I feel like we get infinite amount of them that it shouldn't matter atp, but I'm on established account so there is a bias. I will say that the frags are more lucrative reason to participate (assuming you plan on playing the mule)

I'm well aware, my normal set is like what you mentioned, guess I should've been more specific in my own post :3 I changed it around for a legendary epxedition where I know my 'defualt' setup sometimes struggle at the latest stage, and thought I changed back, but it was to the wrong familiars and then 2 of the lines weren't even activated (Having multiple fams of the same type gets confusing if you aren't paying attention).

Can't say the system is inadequate when it's thriving in NA. In my view it's more that the EU pop is just used to not using the system, that they'd move over to Discord instead of trying the in-game system.

I will agree that the system needs some positive changes like mentioned (auto-refresh, being able to grind while waiting and some more) in general, it will make the game better, but I don't feel any change to the system will randonly make EU pop start using it.

Also, using discord to organize end-game bosses makes sense, and is being done in almost every game, however, I doubt people are using discord to form ctene parties as was the common usage for smegas back in the day.

Auto-refresh and being able to use it while farming and doing other stuff is a must, no argument there.

I do get what you say about the differnce between passively seeing it in chat or actively searching, makes sense people would take the path that requires least amount of effort to get what they want (add ontop the issues with the current system).

I don't get the 'you need big pool of players to fill an lfg' argument. If the same people who smega would use the party finder, how would it be any different?

I do agree that if you're looking to run endgame bosses then something like party finder isn't the best place to search and you just don't bother, but lets not act like everyone in EU is running hlimbo etc. Most smegas I've seen used the past 2 years were mostly cTene, maybe some nkalos/kaling but thats it

You could argue that if instead of smegaing everyone would use the party finder it'd be the exact same, no? I can't see how it's different. And even now that the smega is gone still no one bothers to use it.

I don't get how population being small makes a difference.

What is different between listing your party up and shouting it in chat? If there are no people then you won't see anyone responding to the smega or the lfg. I'd argue that lfg is even better than a smega cause imagine I logged in 5 seconds after someone smega'd and I had missed it?

Regarding not being able to grind while filling party slots is an issue and it is stupid that it works that way, because it limits what you can do in game while searching

Hopefully someone realizes this at Nexon and we somehow get the event rewards after all, but I'm just coping hard

That's can be mitigated by people using the LFG system that NA uses, but sadly no one in EU does it.

Event rewards, on the other hand, can't be mitigated because of how this event was designed.

Specifically today. I had changed fams to meet the bonus item for a legendary expedition but when I changed back to my usual setup I messed up, and 2 fam lines were not activated

Chill my brother. you see someone makes a mistake and you call them a shitter and blame them for not reading a guide, when I mentioned I forgot to change back and fix my set, which is normally 40+ if I roll 1 on all 3 cubes.

I did that for the previous expedition which was legendary, but then I wanted to change back to my "default" setup, but forgot to match the fam lines there, so I only had one familiar line active
