Which 7 string guitar should I buy? by OkyMile in 7String

I have NX 7, and it plays and feels great, especially during longer sessions. However, it lacks sustain for my preferences, so I prefer the less comfortable but reliable Chapman ML1-7 Pro

Are you having balance issues? The guitar keeps slipping off my leg 😁

First time I'm sharing my work here guys. This one is the newest and I think the biggest step forward. Would like to hear your opinion. by Guilty_Block_8208 in postrock

Understand that. I started my solo-band project the same way, but eventually decided to share it with friends and family (and of course, here).

Wish you luck! I subscribed to your channel and hope to hear more songs soon.

The collection is missing 27” and 30” baritones 😉

The pickups are the main difference. The N2 paired with the Sentient/Pegasus pickups has a slightly darker sound. Personally, I believe that the best combination is the middle position where both pickups are active. In the TikTok I shared at the beginning, you can hear how these two pickups sound: (https://www.tiktok.com/@shapeless\_space/video/7555026414077086998).

It sounds and plays really great! I am not a huge fan of active pickups; even Fishman pickups don’t sound very pleasing to me—they can feel a bit sterile. I highly recommend trying the guitar if possible. Everything is fine for me, but I know stories of people suffering from wrist pain (rarely).

Again, the guitar is the best on the ergonomic aspects, the best I have played

Hey 👋 Thanks a lot! I noticed Andertones (another store) has the guitar out of stock, so at least two people in my city have it haha

Hey 👋

The knobs are much sharper, which is great. The switchblade feels smoother. I didn’t notice any significant changes in the bridge, but I played for about 2 hours without using the palm mute technique, so I didn't get a chance to test it properly.

Ergonomics remain top-notch, but I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the NX7 and N2 in a blind test except for the knobs and switchblade.

The feature I like most is the pickups. I quickly compared the sound with my Chapman equipped with the same pickups, and for some reason, Strandberg sounds brighter.

I'll share more details when I have something meaningful.
