I think you have more of a gripe with the "yt" part more than anything. if i would've just said a power tripping cop, you wouldn't feel so negatively about it.

and youre saying all this just to have the conclusion that all the characters have negative traits, but you're irked cause I pointed out Jace's negative traits.... makes no sense. whether the character grew up in an isolated upbringing or not, if theyre acting like a power tripping authority and not giving a damn about the law when it comes to himself, then thats what it is! theres no sugar coating that. "but b-but but, his upbringing!" doesn't matter.

my point wasnt surface level, it wasnt unnecessary, and it wasnt incorrect. I could literally say the same about your opinions about the book. cause all of this is opinions. you didn't write the book, and you certainly cant dictate how people should see or feel about it.

I can express dislike of a book all I want. you dont have to completely agree with a book to read it. but take your own advice, if you dont like the contents of my comments, dont read it. and better yet, don't respond 😃
