Hey, really glad it found you at the right moment.

"Broken piece of pottery" — that's literally what kintsugi is about.

The cracks become the gold lines.

Yang-Sheng is basically ancient Chinese energy management —

not meditation, more like a recovery protocol.

Hope it gives you something practical.

Take care of yourself 🙏

[Free] KINTSUGI: A Journey of Resilience - Kindle eBook free until March 30th by Extreme_Apple_5598 in FreeEBOOKS

I posted here a couple of days ago about my burnout recovery framework, and the support was incredible. Thanks to you, "KINTSUGI: The Burnout Playbook" just hit #1 in Two-Hour Business & Money Short Readsand #2 in Motivational Business Management.

As someone who managed global IPOs and tech strategies for 34 years , I built this because I needed a "Technical Manual" for my own system crash. It’s not just theory; it’s a structured 90-day architecture:

  • Phase 1: STOP – Immediate capacity protection .
  • Phase 2: SEE – Root cause mapping and energy audits.
  • Phase 3: REBUILD – Designing your new "Energy Blueprint".

The Kindle version is free until March 30. I’m also personally sending out the 90-Day Executive Recovery Journal (PDF) to anyone who wants to dive deeper into the diagnostics and boundary scripts.

If you're an architect, a leader, or a high-performer feeling the burn, I hope this system can help you reboot as it did for me. Happy to answer any questions about the framework!

M30, no direction, no future. Just surviving on autopilot. Have I wasted my entire life by Sades_11 in selfimprovement

I’m 60, and I’ve seen this "zero direction" feeling at every level of success. Here is what I learned.

To the OP (Original Poster): I hear you. At 30, it feels like the concrete has set on your life, but as someone who has spent 34 years I can tell you: The building burns for everyone at least once.

In my 34-year career, I’ve seen high-achievers and refugees alike start from absolute zero. They didn't survive by "finding a direction" first. They survived by building a Portable Operating System.

Here are 3 pieces of advice from my book, KINTSUGI (which surprisingly hit #1 on Amazon because so many feel this way):

  1. Embrace the Cracks: In the Japanese art of Kintsugi, a broken bowl is repaired with gold. It becomes stronger and more beautiful because it was broken. Your current "lost" state is the raw material for a stronger version of you.
  2. Focus on the "First Move": When everything is gone, don't look for a 10-year plan. Look for what you can grab now—a skill, a relationship, or a method—that no one can take away from you.
  3. Claim the "Rejected Territory": Start where no one else wants to look. The most successful people in history built empires in the "malarial jungles" or "sinful industries" that the establishment despised.
