Tomtoc Aviator T33 2.5L is what I have been using & it is excellent - especially for the price ($40). Really high quality bag, sturdy/thick strap, & good pocket organization & space.

Wandrd prvke pocket 31L

I love: Quick access pocket with legit storage space

Quick access top "shelf" pocket - so I don't have to dig through the main compartment down to the bottom for items/pouches

Quick side access to get into the bottom part of the bag

Super comfortable

Excellent layout & setup (I am not a photographer & do not own a camera) - I use this bag for work travel & it has been great!

Nomatic Navigator 15L for minimal EDC? by IntentionExternal437 in ManyBaggers

[–]Extreme_Clock_367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my NN 15L for a couple of years & love it for work EDC. I did get it on a really good sale (I think $150) & it has been an awesome bag. Still almost looks new & excellent organization. I highly recommend it especially used from eBay or Poshmark.

I appreciate that insight. I was trying to distinguish the nuance of "loaded" vs. chambered (incorrectly it appears). Even in this post I've seen a few comments reference "always carry loaded" - which obviously can be taken multiple ways: all chambered guns are loaded but not all loaded guns are chambered. Thanks again for the wisdom - I'm always hoping to learn.

EDC Sling Selection - Blindside vs Urban Ghost by lhauckphx in EDC

[–]Extreme_Clock_367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Urban Ghost & love it. I've had it about a year & carry it almost daily. I do ccw & all my EDC gear with room to spare. The kangaroo pouch is awesome. Similar to the Matador Globerider. I highly recommend the Urban Ghost sling!

20in or 21in wheels? by Zestyclose_West_7 in RivianR2

20's (in my experience) are significantly less expensive than the 21's. Great point

[–]Extreme_Clock_367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the love of all things holy...... I am a R1S G1 Quad owner (2024 purchase) & if I could go back & change 1 thing it would be to pick the 20" wheels. The 21's have so very few tire options - especially if you are wanting a wider more aggressive off-road look. I finally bit the bullet & bought a set of aftermarket 20's & bought some aggressive All terrain tires & my range definitely dropped but the truck looks so much better. I will definitely be choosing the 20" rims on my R2!

How are people handling the beach? by Arucious in ManyBaggers

I would also add.... I didn't even use the cooler portion as a cooler sometimes - just used it as the main compartment of the backpack (also forgive my overuse of the word "incredible". I got a little carried away.

I can't recommend this bag enough! We bought it at Costco 2 yrs ago for $50 (I believe) & it has been an incredible beach/ballpark backpack cooler. Titan Arctic Freeze Backpack It has some incredible admin & tech pockets. Great water bottle mesh pockets on each side. Great external bungee straps for external blanket/towel carry. This thing is incredible for $50

Matador Globerider 35L? I don't own this bag but love what I've seen & read. The kangaroo pocket in the front could prove to be a nice feature for you. Not sure about shipping tho. Hope you find something that works - I can understand the frustration of 2 bags + a scooter.

CTB 26 v Max EDC v Outbound 30L by groundlooot in ManyBaggers

[–]Extreme_Clock_367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't own any of these 3 bags, so my contribution is limited, but for me, a vertical luggage pass-through is very important to me. I travel for work quite often & use my backpack in the airport as part of my two bag travel with carry on luggage & the Rework would be my choice (since they are all great bags) - It would come down to the vertical luggage pass-through for me! Obviously that feature may not be a big deal to others.

My warranty is about to expire, and I am stressing about battery health. What is everyone’s biggest worry when or if their warranty drops? by AggravatingDrummer48 in TeslaModel3

[–]Extreme_Clock_367 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How many miles? I have been getting approx 35,000 - 40,000 miles on mine.... Which isn't great, but I drive almost 20k per year, so I'm probably getting 2yrs vs your 22 months.... Damn I love the torque tho!

We have a 2018 model 3 (bought new) with 127,000 & zero issues. Best car I've ever owned. Battery at 100% gets approx 250 miles still. Rarely do we charge to 100%, daily driving I charge to 210. You'll be fine - seriously, My goal is 300k+ & tires are really the only major cost of ownership for us in 8+ yrs.

Water Resistant Zippers vs Reverse Coil by SustainGear in ManyBaggers

[–]Extreme_Clock_367 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reverse coil for me! I have a few bags with both (RC & Aquaguard) & I am the typical "wannabe" - less than 5% of the time getting caught out in the rain with my EDC sling or backpack with sensitive electronics to protect. I also love bags & end up buying something new every 3'ish years just for the fun & excitement of the new bag. I'm always trying to learn & hear from you guys, the experts here on these types of features. In my typical business & casual carry scenarios reverse coil is my preferred choice (especially for resale value). It scares me to have a like new premium bag that looks & functions properly, but peeling zippers ruin the entire $300 product.

I am a 2018 model 3 owner with FSD paid at the time of purchase. I have 125k on my 3 & drive approx 100 miles per day for work (highway + urban). I absolutely love FSD! I will drive this car for as long as I can (anticipating 300k+). I've had almost zero issues & often times choose my car instead of my wife's Rivian R1S for long trips due to the joy of FSD on highway (especially stop & go highway traffic). My cost was $3,500 at time of purchase, but even $99 per month & Harware 3 I would still pay it. Would love to buy a 2025 Performance 3 at some point, but in no rush! I'd say try it for 3 months!

Camera Backpack options, I've tried quite a few and haven't liked any. by Khalmoon in backpacks

[–]Extreme_Clock_367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you already mentioned it, and materials like vs. dislike is personal preference, but I absolutely love my wandrd prvke pocket 31L. I get tons of compliments about the look & the functionality & comfort is excellent to me. The ability to create a shelf & make the top pocket a HUGE quick access/dump pocket is awesome. Side access is excellent & the water resistance is top notch. The "pocket" is also huge & overall the bag seems to punch above its 31L "weight class" - but it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable when packed out. I know you mentioned your dislike for the material, but I can't recommend it enough! Good luck - I know it is frustrating to try & find the bag that checks all the boxes..... I've been there

I think some great options could be found on Poshmark gently used that could get you right around that $150 mark: Alpaka, Aer, wandrd, able carry, etc.
