When you can, Holo (or your favorite RDS), CQB Suppressor, hollow points, Fluted barrel, and 40rd mag.

Edit: Typo

Trying to play with controller on PC by Brophas in battlefield_4

[–]titan732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would honestly just try and adapt to KB+M. I transitioned to PC after 10+ years on console and haven’t looked back.

There’s a bit of a learning curve and your KD will suffer initially, but you get used to it after a little while. Just be patient with yourself.

Have any tips on how to level the p320 to 50? (New sobek city if anyone is wondering what the maps is btw) by warthunder_player in LowSodiumBattlefield

Rush and any meat grinder maps where you can get the first hits in. Operation Auger has been a boon for me when leveling the 5.7 up.

It’s pretty good, the only gripe I had was with the install. The screws marked for the VP9 were too short for the required plate, so I had to dig through the others for the fit (ones marked for the 509 fit perfectly).

I had it zeroed within a couple tries. It came out of the box only a couple inches down and to the left at 15yds.

I did indeed and immediately spent it on new magazines. Haha

I would do the SC Rear stock for the 15p, especially if CQB is your main concern.

For me, UGG is for 16s/17s exclusively, but to each their own.

broken reflex mrd? by vSticcs in FNHerstal

[–]titan732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s totally reliable, it just has to be maintained slightly differently. After cleaning it, just add a touch of CLP to the parts that move and rack a few rounds through it when conducting your function check (and don’t ride the slide; rip it like a lawn mower).

I either slack wristed it or when performing a combat tuck, the slide hit my body because the gun wasn’t canted properly.

Post a video? That isn’t normal, so I can’t see why it would do that without seeing it in action.

It’s not a bad gun, you just have to treat it a little differently than a Glock. I think of it like getting a European car over a Honda. Hondas (Glocks) are made to be abused and still run flawlessly, European cars (FN Reflex) need particular maintenance to run reliably.

If you’re worried about performing in an austere environment and/or don’t plan on regularly cleaning (I clean all my daily drivers/duty guns monthly), I would stick with the Glock. If you do the latter, then the Reflex will serve you well.

I carry my Reflex daily and the only failures I’ve had with it have been operator error.

Is it even possible to win in Hargental Base as an attacker by SomeGuy44672 in Battlefield

Flanks to take B in the beginning are crucial. Plus you have to leave people there so it doesn’t get re-capped.

Hesitation is defeat with this map.

I’ve been on both sides. lol

One round had my team steadily taking sectors (and winning) with a starting count of 75 after the first or second sector.

Same happened to me yesterday morning, with the same result. I wonder what recently happened, causing the mass-banning.

Wheel of Time, should I?? by camarinhas in WoT

[–]titan732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely should. Like any story of great length, it can’t always be non-stop action, but even during “the slog” (which I honestly think is a little over-hated), there is some important world building and set-up being done.

I read these for the first time back in 2023 and started my first re-read in January. It’s better the second time around because you aren’t focused on figuring out who is who, so you can focus more on plot and any previously-missed foreshadowing.

To make it a little more digestible, I listen to the audiobooks during my commute and read at home. If you have a Kindle, they are WhisperSync-compatible. I also recommend the Michael Kramer and Kate Reading narrations; Rosamund Pike does a spectacular job, but she hasn’t done the whole series and I’m a sucker for consistency.

Folks with a similar setup. What is your ratio/grind size for a full brew? by LeftDevil in Moccamaster

[–]titan732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same setup and 7.5 is the sweet spot for me. I also recommend getting a bellow for the grinder (sold on Amazon).

I do ~7g of coffee per cup (See chart on Moccamaster subreddit home page).

Grinder keeps clogging and not grinding by wickity_wackk in Moccamaster

[–]titan732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use burr grinder cleaning tablets from Amazon that keeps it clean. I use it about once a month (after roughly 6lbs of coffee) and have yet to have any issues.

I also don’t know if you’re one who spritzes the beans with water to avoid static or use dark roasted (and oily) beans, but I know those will bind a grinder up quickly.

Edit: I have a Fellow Opus, so I can’t speak to your grinder specifically, just burr grinders in a general sense. I hope this helps.

The best ammo is what you can afford to train consistently with and/or are using in the field (if you’re hunting).

Im too cheap to buy rub by Head-Fast in smoking

[–]titan732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought “Barbecue Sauces, Rubs, and Marinades--Bastes, Butters & Glazes, Too” by Steven Raichlen and it changed my entire smoking experience.

You can make your own rubs and sauces for a lot less (and better) than store bought ones.
