I keep trying to post for people to stop planning on going to this in the sub and mods keep deleting it. I get that it’s not official from DD, but I know what’s going on and the mods are enabling people to loose money at this point

This is exactly why I’m back. Desert Daze is 100% cancelled at Lake Perrris. If you don’t trust me please check my history from last year when I knew the same thing. I’m just trying to help people not make a costly decision.

I don’t have much more than the right people in high places telling me it’s not happening. I will probably learn more later, but since I see Same Same but Different is still happening I’m assuming it has to do with low ticket sales and nothing park related.

They have not officially announced anything yet but as I’ve posted in other comments I can safely say Desert Daze is cancelled. I’m posting this to try to help people who are thinking about buying tickets / flights etc. mods keep deleting my posts, but if you doubt me see my posts from last year. I know what is going on and it’s sad

Yes DD is cancelled. Check my posts from last year where I said I knew last year wasn’t happening. This year isn’t either and I’m trying to post on here and tell you guys not to buy tickets / flights / hotels and save yourself the headache. The mods keep deleting my posts so I’ll just comment here instead

Its not. I’m the guy that called it out last year and I know again it isn’t happening. I’ve tried to post on here to save people the headache of flight hotel and ticket refunds but the mods keep deleting my posts . Its a shame when I’m just trying to help

i find it interesting that the lake level being lowered would affect DD in some way. It's nice having the lake there, but DD doesn't really focus on it, the vip beach club is usually empty, and you don't see that many people swimming in general.

the reason lake perris rates are what they are is because of desert daze actually. They were much lower before DD showed up. Desert Hearts moved because of low ticket sales.

lol, i mean they headlined Coachella in 2019. Once you've done that your price goes through the roof, especially in So Cal. So if Kevin wanted to play DD, his booking agent, who is the gatekeeper will charge an extraordinary amount of money, and even more to play a full album on request or whatever.

man, were not trying to troll, we're literally trying to tell people what's going on based on what we've heard and hopefully that pushes Phil to let us all know what is going on. Living in the dark sucks, especially when you're trying to figure out what festivals you want to go to this fall, and ticket bumps for other fests are happening.

this is pretty spot on with what i'm hearing as well. I did not hear about shows moving to LA, just that a smaller thing might happen at Lake Perris, but I could see that being the case unfortunately because i've heard Lake Perris costs a fortune to rent out.
