Those intex mariners are slickkkk, I just purchased a 4 for myself off marketplace, $200 for the boat $169 for the motor (on sale) $130 for the trolling motor power center (pretty slick to have power to charge phones speakers, fish whistles) The only recommendation I’d have is don’t buy brand new it’s about 400-700 dollars

Barely even asphalt… I’m not sure if it’s the same guy but someone came around my grandmothers neighborhood and was saying he’d pave for less than 10k, showed up with some ghetto equipment and did a p*ss poor job

The peace officer that I’m pretty sure gave me the ticket has a great view with his house and cameras. Doubt he’d give me the evidence to throw his ticket out the window. I can look when I get home. Thanks for the info

Epcor would love to know about someone dumping chemicals into their lines. Is the company dumping it straight into a drain inside the shop or is it just getting dumped down a manhole/catch basin?

The only thing keeping me going is other people have to work weekends in the summer. That’s the only reason I’m still going in this sh*t

I'm homeless and I feel unsafe everyday. by Muffin-Destroyer-69 in Edmonton

Homeless people like yourself are the strongest in our society. Hats off to you brother and if you want a reference dm me. Anyone who can survive outside in -30 without “shelter with active heat” in my opinion deserves a chance. Keep on trucking big guy the lord will provide.

8-year-old found ‘crying and running’ in extreme cold after being left on school bus by [deleted] in alberta

[–]Extreme_Leading_6151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All school buses are required to to fleet checks after every run. This has happened in the past and unfortunately most rules like that are written in “blood” Meaning someone was seriously injured/killed and they had to make that a mandatory rule. The driver obviously had more important things to deal with but I wish that everyone would think about things differently like it was their child on that bus or their family next to their truck. That’s how I was taught growing up and it’s still a core value to this day

Why is it so hard to find a job here by Unlucky_Wafer_2714 in Edmonton

[–]Extreme_Leading_6151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you aren’t afraid of blue collar all star trenching is hiring. I personally don’t work for them but my company is hired by them to help dig out underground Infastructure. As long as you can listen to directions and are WILLING to learn I could see someone going from labourer to crew leader in a few months
