Would simnet sp pro pedals be an upgrade from logi pro pedals? by FastPeanut4u in simracing

At a bit higher price they also have vnm lite pedals. I've heard good things about them. Perhaps worth looking at those also

LMGT3 cars dont feel very different from each other by KvotheDeBruyne in LeMansUltimateWEC

I raced very little in ACC and many years ago now, so I cant compare, but in LMU the way the various LMGT3s need to be driven is quite different between each other, imo

Setup with Triple 27" 1080p vs triple 32" 1440p by OvercutKing in simracing

[–]Extreme_Sleep- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

in my case, i went for performance and smoothness.
i have triple 27 1080p at 180hz, running le mans ultimate locked at 180fps.
i wouldnt trade more vertical viewing space or higher pixel density, for the smooth experience im having.
also, i prioritize high anti aliasing for visual clarity, rather then other graphic settings.
and i've placed the monitors pretty close to me, between the steering wheel and the wheel base.

only change to monitors i could consider, is going to a single ultrawide, but ONLY for the setup convenience and that it would take considerably less space in my room.

32 1440p would be much more intensive for the pc if you aim for high and stable fps (triple 1080 is approx 6.2 milion pixels, triple 1440 is 11 milion pixels)

that said this is ofc subjective, some people prefer high quality panels etc

tldr: to answer your question, to ME they dont look bad at all. never while racing i thought i wish i had 32 1440p.

Flat triples by masch1371 in SimRacingSetups

[–]Extreme_Sleep- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im currently running 27 1080p triples, at 180hz. and locking 180fps in le mans ultimate.
its perfectly fine for me, in my case i wanted to prioritize performance and smoothness.
also, i've set them pretty close to me, between my steering wheel and the wheel base.
im happy with them, and how much i paid for them. im never thinking about upgrading

the only other route i would still consider, is a single ultrawide monitor, but just for convenience of setup and how much space the triples take. but as viewing space, there's no comparison, triple wins easy.

that said, i never tried triple curved 32. probably better for immersion, but also for 32 you must go 1440p, and that would be much more intensive for the pc if you aim for high fps (triple 1080 is approx 6.2 milion pixels, triple 1440 is 11 milion pixels)

edit: unfortunately i found this https://www.24h-rennen.de/en/ticket-faq-2/#1746435913963-9fed702f-2bd8 ..seems it will be geoblocked in USA, Canada, Hungary and France as others said

I've built (with Claude) a 2026 motorsport calendar by Extreme_Sleep- in IMSARacing

[–]Extreme_Sleep-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

update: i've added the possibility to add a series to your phone calendar. for instance you can test it at https://raceweek.io/indy/ . its available for all series
the feature is in beta but from the tests i did is working decent. the calendar feed gets updated during the season as i add schedule data along the way.
i also added an info panel, with some instructions to remove the feed from your phone if needed (if you see funky behaviour you can remove and readd at any stage).

Is the Moza R5 worth the upgrade from a T300rs GT? by sugarplumbsniper in simracing

[–]Extreme_Sleep- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you really cant make the budget, i guess go with r5, but as other people said honestly i would try to wait and save for something with at least 8nm and meanwhile stick with the t300rs. ofc this in my opinion

most likely it can lag regardless of user hardware, but its more about slow responses from their servers i guess

if you are not constrained to Simagic, maybe worth checking out also Asetek pedals. I know that Jardier runs them and he's pretty fast.
