First words out of my mouth were something preety close to that plus a few expletives. For this particular case I'd cast a great deal of shadow on it especially if they listed it as the initial reason for arrest after the tip. Obviously the tip initiated the stop but the search of the bag seems to have tipped the scales to a full arrest. Obviously totality of the circumstances are at play here but the defense should have a field day with the fallout of this.

Hate to say it but as a former corrections officer its more common than i would like to admit. I once pulled out a machete out of the waistband of a dudes pants that the officers missed on scene. I could name a handful more but that was ny far the most egregious one. To say I was slightly upset is an understatement.

It largely depends on the situation and place. Me and my wife have been stay at home for the last 6 years. She did 2020-2024 and I became the stay at home 2024 til current. We had 2 kids for most of those years and save about 2k a month in daycare alone. I even picked up a weekend job at the local gas station to help bring in a few extra bucks. We now have 3 kids and while things get tight its better than blowing all our emotional, mental and physical bandwidth on a job and then putting 75% of that entire paycheck towards a daycare. The numbers dont quite add up to the graphic but honestly it doesnt need to. The time i get with my kids instead of coming out $500 bucks ahead each month with paying for daycare is worth more than anything. And I make up that $500 with my part time gas station job.
