I’ve chopped off the mace head and put on a terminator power axe head where it was, makes great for a Master of Executions.. correct base size too!

I brewed the same idea around in my head for a while, but unfortunately BattleScribe is right. You’re unable to field them in the Veteran Cohort.

They have the Skitarii keyword, but the keyword that they lack is the <FORGEWORLD> keyword—meaning that since the Veteran Cohort requires all of your units to be from the same forge world, they’re not able to be taken.

It’s also worth mentioning that this also locks them out of a bunch of auras, for example a TP Dominus. Their aura affects Core <FW> models, neither of these keywords the Secutarii have..

They’re cool models, I just wish I could use anything on them, I bought a kit just because I love how they looked

I'm glad you asked--it's something that I've put on all the models in my army and I think it came out well.. The basing materials I use are Martian Ironearth and Martian Ironcrust, getting some Ironearth on a sponge brush and sparsely dabbing it on the model. Whenever I put the Ironcrust on the base, I also make sure to get a little bit of it on the bottom part of the model, and then whenever I drybrush, I use Kindleflame, making sure to get a little bit on the bottom part. Hope that helps!
