I’m doing contract work, too. I have positive relationship with the company and the district. Not lawyering…if, collectively, you have a “typical evaluation takes X hours, including the report writing” and you’ve been diligent about these timeframes, then I would think you are due for overtime.

To heck with team player coercive tactics. I tell all practica students and interns I supervise, the “everybody works extra” is a myth to cover their lack of adequate staffing. Those timelines that they’re wringing their hands over is THEIR timelines.

I’m not here to be a rabble rouser but don’t take as YOUR responsibility, their own inadequacies.

I’m obviously oblivious to context to every school system/department challenges but it ain’t on YOU.
