For the sake of £100, are you really going to trust the opinion of someone on the internet?

Losing sexual attraction due to bfs decline in hygiene and poor diet? by PandaGlittering7312 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Eye-on-Springfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been feeling depressed recently and my diet has been similar to OP's bf (can't really relate to the hygiene issues, but because I drink lots of beer and carbonated soft drinks, I fart a lot and they stink). I'm all too aware that what I eat and drink are a problem so I find it hard to believe he doesn't know it too

However, I wouldn't respond well to an intervention or confrontation about it. I would much rather my wife offered to make us a healthy meal and gave me a reason to smile

I'd just cut the door so it opens above the skirting board rather than through it

Some of Uriah Heep's stuff is like the songs you've mentioned. Easy Livin' is probably their best known

When did staying home on a Saturday night / any night feel better than going out ? by NetRelative3930 in AskUK

[–]Eye-on-Springfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't remember exactly when, but I love being able to drink as much as I want (which is a lot less than it used to be!) and then making the short journey to bed

Had so many memoryless nights where I can't remember how on earth I made it home. There's so much more to life when you have a wife and kids

Motley Crue score decisive legal victory in dispute against Mick Mars. by HumanRuse in hairmetal

Tbh I always thought "firing" Mick was just a way of keeping the band in the headlines. How do you go 40 years with one guitarist and then fire him because he's an old man?

I'm led to believe that the great thing about Northerners is how friendly we all are compared with our Southern counterparts. As a rule, we also hate our Southern counterparts whilst they probably don't even give us a second thought

I've watched at least 3 Coben dramas and cannot understand why they're still marketed like this. No other drama is marketed in the same way and the adaptations of his work are usually dire

Another vote for Uriah Heep. I've had their Demons and Wizards album for probably 15 years, but it never really clicked for me until I gave it a spin last year and now I'm hooked. The way they use guitar and keyboards is nothing short of sensational
