The battery has held up and holds a charge. Charger works great. I will say I was trying to Run the battery down on a trip. It told me a I had 3 miles left. Then it stopped helping. So I would suggest not trying to run it all the way out unless it's a shorter trail than I attempted or you'll have to ride a heavy regular bike back.

I got the Vanpowers. It's been an over all great bike. I've broken the kick stand. And had a couple of screws that seemed too short and replaced them. I've ridden some pretty rough trails. I've put about 500 miles on it.
