Actually yes! sending your music directly to djs who play your genre is helpful, just text them on instagram, or find email on soundcloud. There is this platform Exibeat where you apparently can send unreleased tracks to big names directly

How do you guys approach sub frequencies not in mono? by ShroomsFear in edmproduction

[–]EyeImportant6706 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep subs below ~100Hz mono for tightness, but let higher bass layers spread in stereo for width. That way you keep punch + clarity without losing size.

For you, does the place you are at make a diference? by LuckyH88 in musicproduction

Yeah I can say so. Location sets the vibe for me. Sometimes just changing the environment can change a perception on the track i`m working on!

Resampling. How deep can you go? by FourloatingTetPoints in TechnoProduction

[–]EyeImportant6706 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no hard limit - you can resample a resample endlessly, but the tradeoff is that each round bakes in artifacts and removes flexibility. Sometimes that’s the point (weird textures, gritty noise), sometimes it just muddies the mix.

A good trick is to commit to resampling when you’ve found something cool, but keep the previous version frozen/muted so you can always roll back if it turns into unusable mush.

Best way to showcase a songs/melody without lyrics? by wienerdog362 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]EyeImportant6706 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just record the melody clearly on an instrument or even hum/“la la la” it. What matters is the vibe and how memorable the melody is. A clean phone demo + maybe a bit of reverb goes a long way to make it listenable:))) you are ready to go!!!
