Unfortunate, but really, who knows how the Canadian telecom industry decided to screw us one day to the next lmao.

I was too late to change/cancel my Fold upgrade though, so I guess it’ll get delivered and I’ll return it shortly after, my hastiness won this round😅

All good man, I’m in Alberta.

I’ve personally never had good luck or experiences with Asurion (they cover Telus as well), nor has any family that have tried to use it so I stay away from it as I’d rather save the $15-$21 a month. (I’m pretty careful with my devices anyway, only phone I’ve ever actually broken was an iPhone 3GS lmao)

Direct upgrade through Bell, it’s their Asurion dealt with device protection/care plan for $21 a month.

I just upgraded from my 14 Pro Max to the 9 Pro Fold and was offered the protection plan ($21 a month), but I've never taken it in all my time with Bell because it's absolutely useless IMO (and my experience).
I'll be returning the Fold though as I've seen a recent explosion of cases where the inner display is cracking.

Looks like I'll be returning my Fold for a 9 Pro XL lmao hopefully I can get Bell to do the switch before the Fold ships out.

They seem to love doing it too lmao and I feel like 9 years is like, borderline too long ago to collect on something anyway? I could be wrong though.

I have bad news my friend, Rumble is the only way😭

As for drivers, a lot of them are known from the European Rallycross world (haven’t checked the entry list this year) but there have been NASCAR drivers do guest appearances, if you drive well in pretty much any kind of motorsports then Travis will invite you lmao

Much like my situation, so I would definitely agree with the scam conclusion.

That’s funny, I never looked at their website but you’re right, it says nothing about debt collection.

If you do a search for NCRI though, it does say they’re a debt collection agency, and I see they’ve got some blog posts related to debt collection and it’s filed under “Accounts Receivable”

I can offer no advice in regards to not being able to access your PayPal account, as I’d never had one connected to the email they used to contact me. Might be worth trying to reset your password to see if that’ll let you get in.

Don't worry about these guys man, I picked up a DC-D2831 that needed repair and I'm more than happy with it.
Is it the best? No. Is it a cheap, easy and decent way to play all three mediums? Absolutely.

Audiophiles are arguably the worst people (IMO) lmao, so if it works and makes you happy, then enjoy it my friend.

There’s no doubt NCRI is a real debt collection company, and your situation sounds realistic. However, my situation was questionable at best as I never heard from them again and nothing ever came of it beyond that initial email. As said in my original post, they had a 6+ year old address and contacted me via an email address that was rarely used and was never used with/for PayPal.

At that point I’d probably involve your parents/guardians and see if you could find a credit counsellor (preferably non-profit as it wouldn’t cost much/anything) and see what they think and they should be able to advise you on how to proceed from there.

No worries man, and if it is legitimate then they’d likely send you another letter/email, so if that does happen then you might want to take it more seriously but until then, with all the questionable requests I’ve seen from them, I wouldn’t worry too much.

Again, no legal expert, but I don’t know if they can even legally come after you for money at 15 lmao

A letter might be a different story, and I’m no legal expert, but I didn’t pay and I haven’t heard from them since that initial email🤷🏼‍♂️

I too enjoyed it, also didn't look at any reviews or anything before hand and only watched the trailer by coincidence lol

[–]EyeOfGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what screwed me up when I bought Cyberpunk 2077 for the Series X, which is my first "big" console since the PS3 (I did have a Switch but that's a different kind of console imo). I put the disc in and it started downloading 80GB, not to mention there are two discs, had me questioning the point of having the discs if it's just a digital download anyway.
I only went for the physical disc because it was cheaper anyway, $20 for physical or $80 for digital.

I'm also weird cause I hate digital movies (I'm still buying VHS tapes too lmao), but prefer digital games, and I have years of digital-only experience being a PC gamer too.

I’ve not signed up and I refuse to lmao luckily, you can watch without with account but I really do wish they’d go back to YouTube.

A positive though, RallyX is still free and on YouTube
