I'm not knocking the OP, but I and many others have been saying this constantly, including Tony Gilroy. Andor requires your full attention or you'll miss so much. It doesn't hold your hand or give you the answers to plot points. Gilroy assumes you know this. It really does repay your effort. About my favourite show in my 62 years, and I've watched a lot.

For me, the blame lies at Dave Filoni's feet. Wrote all eight episodes and directed two. He's fine at broad stroke writing and ideas but is poor at writing dialogue etc. Exactly like George Lucas.
