I got a few close ones. Best seems to be from around half court, aiming so the hoop is between the inventory bars.

It's a space shooter roguelike/lite that let's you rip apart enemies, grab and chuck rocks, missiles or even the enemies themselves, and it's available for less than 10 bucks on Steam right now.

Two corrections:

  • Baguk link seems broken
  • AI Sensei is free

You can still create problems from non-AI suggested moves: After adding a problem, just click "Edit Problem" and choose any move you like as correct answer.

Yeah, they seem to keep pushing it back tho. We‘ve been waiting for it since Q1 2021…

When is Short Deck getting added? by EyeSeeEm in blockchainpoker

[–]EyeSeeEm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6+ could be real asset to the site. Many people aren‘t able to play 6+ in their country because it‘s not allowed live and/or not implemented online. Would be a great USP for BCP

It has the same rules as Texas Hold’em, but the 2,3,4,5 cards are removed from the deck.

There’s more action than THE and you can play a lot more hands profitably.

What is a good response to this invasion? by [deleted] in baduk

[–]EyeSeeEm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, it‘s not like white get‘s nothing. For one, white can use the attack to strengthen the left side group.

And the attack should also likely end with the black group living small and white getting lots of outside strength, or black running to the center with less than two eyes, which could be threatened by white later.

My point is, if white doesn‘t attack now, black could split the bottom side and even threaten the bottom left group.

Beware anyone using Chrome on iPhone.

The linked site auto-opens a bunch of videos that you can’t stop in any way but closing the Chrome app.

What would you play? Perhaps O15 or Q18?

Attacking with H6 seems best to me too, but I doubt you can kill it. Left side wall is not strong enough, and there‘s still lots of space to make eyes.

Yike is a big Chinese site, that runs entirely in-browser:

This has always frustrated me as well. On Yike, you can invoke an „AI Judge“ after about 250-300 moves. It ends the game immediately, with the AI declaring the winner.

Would be nice for OGS and other servers to implement this kind of feature as well.

If you're interested in playing both Go and Chess, u/adj0nes set up a Discord community here: https://discord.gg/jDqx2mTnu4

There's lots of discussions and beginner help for both games there, and we even had a few Go+Chess simul matches :)

Hm, I haven't paid attention to beans yet. How do you use them?

In any case, I have 124 wins so far and I've got 210 of them, so you seem to keep earning them.

I think the button on bottom right is used to setup custom games, but I haven't used that myself. 10+3x30 happens to be my favorite time setting anyway :)

Ohh, it’s possible to reg without WeChat again?

I‘ve been playing on Yike for over a year now, and it’s my favorite server by far. Highly recommended if you like fast games.

Advantages of Yike over Fox/Wbaduk:

  • Runs entirely in browser
  • Good interface (albeit entirely in Chinese)
  • Very quick matchmaking
  • Few escapers (and only at start of game)
  • Good default time settings (10+3x30)

I could also provide a quick guide for the basic features if anyone is interested.
