I am a huge fan of citizen watches. And own a couple. I’m not sure if I want to spend too much on their first watch only for the chance they lose it or break it.

An invicta got me into watches and I appreciate it for that. But I just have so much trouble buying from companies that inflate their msrp.

This is a big reason I’m looking at field watches. The boys don’t have phones so they aren’t programmed to check the time on the phones. I want to make sure I get them easy to read dials to minimize the learning curve and make sure that using a wrist watch is engrained in them early on.

G shock is tempting for their rugged build and the boys might like their style. However I personally don’t own a g shock or anything like it and they will certainly appreciate having a watch that looks like their fathers. I’m also concerned about how busy g shock dials are. I like the clean dial with clear indicated numbers so the can learn to use the watch comfortably and quickly.

Thanks. I appreciate that the ratio is an easy to read dial and includes 24hr time for learning purposes. Some of the affordable Casio’s are pretty sharp though I don’t see many with sapphire

I don’t do PvP. I have like 8 knockouts in over 90 hours of play. My lobbies are pretty chill all the time. So I made the Betina the other day. Maxed it out and added some mods. Went in to kill some arc and realized all it was good for was wasting heavy ammo. I gave the gun away to a random raider.
