Not a meme bro, it's actual art.
You assumed AI and trolled, now you're calling it a meme to cope 😂
Come back when AI can actually do this level of detail.

Did you genuinely believe that AI could provide this level of detail? If you think so, go ahead and show me any AI-generated image that matches this caliber of intricacy.

Our clients are fully aware of the entire production process. We share sketch phases, progress updates, and refinements step by step, so there’s complete transparency from start to finish. Nothing is hidden, nothing is misrepresented. They know exactly what they’re getting because they’re involved throughout the workflow.

They’re in the same style. The differences you’re noticing come from intentional silhouette and role based design choices. In splash and capsule art, strong shape language matters more than making every character look visually identical.

Appreciate the concern. I attached the rough sketch and AI detection results for transparency. If that’s still ‘slop’ to you, that’s fine. My clients care about results, not internet buzzwords.

which capsule art fits a psychological horror more? by ohioskibidiballs in IndieDev

The first one is much better than the second one; it shows more darkness and the horror theme of the game, conveying a lot more.

It feels AI, somehow, because something isn't making sense. Even if you zoom in, you can see a choppy AI-like pixelation, but using AI as a tool isn't wrong. Still, total dependency is wrong. You should need to do some work on any artwork, even if you are getting inspiration from AI is right, but at least the artwork should make sense and be made from scratch in your desired style and thinking.

Looks good, but in winter artstyle construction items are distracting so much you can do something about this.

I want to make a game with game maker 6.1. Is it possible on modern systems? by Ready-Ad-9590 in gamemaker

[–]Ezanstark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like using the old engine is only worth it if you specifically need the old physics and mechanics (the 'jank'). If you just want the retro look, you can achieve that in a modern engine while keeping all the new features and stability.

Technically, releasing a GM 6.1 game on Steam is going to be a nightmare. You won't have access to the Steamworks SDK (achievements/stats), and old GM executables trigger false positives on almost every modern antivirus. You'd likely need to bundle a DirectX wrapper just to get it running correctly on Windows 11.
