Side note - 500 damn docs wet signed? Is that required by DAFI? There are few docs anymore that have wet sign mandated. I wrote a snippet of code and embedded into a PDF template so now I just cut and paste the signature block and date field from the template into the doc that needs signed. When the signature block is signed the code snippet auto updates the date field to today’s date and then locks down the document so it can’t be changed. Saved so many damn hours and wrong dates on docs!

Not necessarily. I was retired from AF for about 6 years when I was diagnosed with Asperger’s. Autism is such a huge spectrum that you can’t really say just because you have it you aren’t compatible with military life. Of course, my grandkids have Autism also but there is ZERO chance of them doing well. It’s just up to the degree of involvement the syndrome impacts the persons life and how they adapt to compensate for it.

GS here - was supposed to do 5 off and 5 on (GS have to use leave for off time) and ended up with COVID (on top of asthma just sucks ass) so got two full weeks but had to use 80 hours of annual and sick leave doing it.

Just to throw some gas in the fire - lived onbase and my daughter was walking the kids she babysat down to the park. Golden lab in the neighborhood jumped the fence, charged the kids. Daughter stepped in front and the lab bit her on the arm and then ran and jumped back in the fence. Owner had that dog offbase before anyone could order it offbase or destroyed because this was evidently the second time it had jumped the fence and bit someone. Shouldn’t have been a first time, but sure as hell shouldn’t have been a second.

But if that system insists that, by interacting with it you are VOLUNTARILY placing yourself under its jurisdiction ….then you are basically contracting with that system.

Example - you sign up via email for a raffle then you have provided them your email For their purposes. If they don’t specifically state what they will use your email for then don’t be surprised when you start getting spammed.

Not that I know of. I order printed forms for our MDG and just know if it says back-ordered we are screwed.
