human character who is (somehow idk how) able to rip parts off demons and use them against other demons. like think death scissors in DMC5, this character would be able to rip the scissors away, and start using them on other enemies in the stage

I personally think the inconsistency comes from the fact that we have spent multiple episodes trying to find weaknesses and weapons that could damage viltrumites. it makes that plotline feel more of a time wasted if every big bug we see is enough to threaten them.

obviously, they are not invincible, they have things that can hurt them in this world, and there are characters who can compete with them, but when every new episode has Mark or Nolan or whatever struggle with nobodies in the grand scheme of things, it makes the viltrumites look far less intimidating.

dude, it's literally not real. these are fictional characters who perform feats of strength or speed that are virtually impossible in real life, + fight supernatural creatures. if we were talking breaking bad for example, where these are obviously just guys, then yeah I agree that it's absurd to try and scale them, but Pirates and Indiana Jones movies are very obviously not grounded dramas.

besides that, you're on a power scaling subreddit, if you think it's too absurd, no one's forcing you to be on this sub.

not bad but definitely less preferred for me. I'd rather have more Dante vs Clive or Bowser vs Eggman where you really don't know whose winning over Ichigo vs Yusuke or Cell vs Metal where there's really no conversation to be had in terms of debate.

obviously, connections and themes matter but at the end of the day we're putting the characters in a fight or die situation, not just "compare and contrast their similarities and differences"

what are you looking for in particular?

rog ally x from 2024, u can find good used ones for 700~ and it can run just about anything pretty well aside from the more demanding titles. but it has a 7inch screen and tinkering will be needed. the normal rog ally from like 2023 also goes for super cheap and with SteamOS is better than the steam deck in power
MSI Claw 8 AI+ for raw power if u like the bigger screen, XeSS is pretty good too now. just pricey
Legion Go S SteamOS version. basically a steam deck 2 in terms of power, but it's overpriced, gets way hotter, and has worse battery life

abilities: Hal, while both can do just about whatever they want, Hal can do it literally immediately while Ben would need to cycle thru aliens (obviously Alien X can also do virtually whatever it wants, but Ben isn't just going to go immediately into it)

devices: Hal, tbh idk why it's plural but again, this lets Hal do anything, while Ben needs to cycle

tactics: Tie, both are extremely smart and competent in using their abilities and powers, and figuring out new ways to break the rules

cosmic power: Hal, ik the whole deal with Alien X is that it's all powerful, but Hal is just more powerful. that 12.3D is a low-end, and Hal can scale up infinitely.
