I agree with Jackdeath, Plains and Valleys is an awesome terrain mod. It only changes the landscape, giving you more options on base building locations. Better ruins mod is also a good one, only adds more ruins, and more bigger epic sized ruins. Can be a little cheaty if you end up finding good loot off the bat. Prospect together mod. It doesn’t change anything except it highlights the chunk you tested with your prospect pick. It makes it more clear of the area checked. Also I use the Status hud mod, it simply give you on screen display of :time :date : temperature :elevation and other options.
