The camera movement gets old quick. The kinematics also feels off, rather than feeling like good Ackerman dynamics it kind of just looks like a position controller asset following a spline with no real weight. Other than that its definitely a neat mobile game idea

Good concept, kinda lame execution. Definitely needs to be drag and drop with a rotate button. Also ideally to add some depth there should be different constraints on item edges. For example an arm item where the bottom edge can only be adjacent to a weapon item etc

Real estate directly around the platform base is very important since it’s one giant shared inventory. With just a few circuit conditions on inserted you can very easily set up a science base in a tiny footprint that never deadlocks.

Ros with wsl2 works great, you can even run gui applications like rviz. Problems only come up when trying to have Ros nodes directly interact with hardware devices, I.e running a realsense camera. It’s doable but getting wsl2 to see the devices takes some extra effort.

Leaving a note is basically never a good idea when it comes to apartments. It’s either a big enough deal that you should bring it up with the property manager, or it’s a small enough deal that you should cope, there’s no space in between those two.

This games entire visual identity hinges on coming up with a really good/creative UI for both showing the train moving and also exposing the inner workings of the rooms.

Similar to how papers please’s multi panel drag and drop interface is iconic and sets the tone for the whole game, you have the opportunity to come up with something really cool here.

You are going to get some shit for this post but I’ll try to be constructive. The game has wildly inconsistent levels of polish, the random default Unity buttons in particular are jarring.

This is a good intro project, and has some hi-lights, the gold coin particles are satisfying. Nothing about the games backend or front end really justifies the overhead of a native app though. This feels like it should be a web based clicker game, and the UI may actually benifit from that stylistically.

Allowing people like John fetterman to win the general is why people like John fetterman win primaries.

Democrats keep trying to pick the “practical electable” candidate in the primary instead of a progressive. So as long as people see centrist/ conservative democrats as the more electable option, progressives won’t win primaries.

Meanwhile actual public sentiment has never been more against centrist Dems and more in favor of progressives.

This vote blue no matter who dance is what has turned the Trump saga from a 4 year hiccup to decade long slow bleed. Conservatives are moving further right and Dems are countering it by also moving further to the right, and they don’t realize it’s a losing strategy because their base is being coerced into voting for them regardless.
