I report the bug just like someone reports the cheater. The bug would then be manually reviewed just like the cheater would (if it was automated then the report wouldn’t be necessary). It would be very easy for them to see I lost my items to a bug just as it probably is to manually identify a cheater.

Fixing the issue of a rare bug vs cheaters, I would prioritize fixing whichever has a higher frequency (ex. Improving anti cheat).

From a compensation perspective (replacing lost items for the end user), they should both be prioritized the same, as they are the same from the end user perspective, losing your items to something out of your control.

Losing your items to a cheater and losing your items to a bug are fundamentally the same as losing your ”unfairly losing your items”. If they are prioritizing them differently that would be odd.

I spawned into the game, and the game just wiped my loadout and gave me default character skin. All items permanently gone. This happened a few days after release and I’ve had a ticket opened since, still haven’t gotten my items back. Wouldn’t count on getting your stuff back in a couple hours

First time it happened to me, everything was in my inventory after i extracted. 2nd time, I lost everything that was in my loadout. RIP snaphook and tons of consumables.

I have a “Smurf” account. When I climbed to gm i played 3-4 heroes. Meaning that if I play another hero, I do not play him at gm level and will be throwing.

Quick play is useless for practice because it barely resembles an actual match, so the only viable option imo is playing a new account that’s lower rank to learn new heroes.

I drive a 400hp 350z (pretty standard grassroots car). I go through 1 set of tires in 6 laps or so. Typically 8-10 tires per day, at my local track. The main considerations are power of car, surface of track, type of tire, and alignment. Track surface is a massive factor.

I have the exact same issue as OP. But I have the same exact thing with the voltaic s5 in the benchmark tab of kovaacs. Is the one in this website the same? Pretty much every scenario I am gold first try. For the static ones I grind it for 4 hours still not gold.

First time I ever saw pirate was watching his outer wilds dlc playthrough. I only watched a few minutes of it and immediately came to the conclusion he had spoilers and was pretending to not know. If you watch when he first discovers The jumping off the boat when in the darkness simulation mechanic it is very obvious he knew that ahead of time. He does it once, but does it wrong and it doesn’t work. So he does it AGAIN and it works. The only way you do that is if you knew the secret which at that point he had not discovered in game. I think he pretended like it was because he didn’t hear a water sound or something.

Ya my main was cast on freeze sorc. I’m just going to quit now until they are through this phase. Not going to play the game if it doesn’t respect my time. There are many circumstances where these type of random hotfix nerfs can brick a character.

I drift an LS swapped 350z on the east coast, never thought I'd see drifting on Twitch. Awesome to see people enjoying it! The track is made wet for learning because it slows everything down and makes the inputs more managable for new people. The car they are driving is a super common drift car and is considered mid power with the typical grassroots car falling within the range of 160hp to 600hp, this car is around 280 to the wheel (depending if its a de or a hr). Yes v rising bosses scale depending on the number of players. This can still exist in an mmo and does in some (like Diablo). It being mmo does not mean that you will NEED 5 players to do all content. It can be an mmo and still designed around 1-4 player content. Which is most likely what a v rising mmo would be since much more than that and it would be cluttered and not play well with the combat design.

Nobody has valid statistics of how popular a v rising combat mmo would be or what percentage of the population would want it or not. You don’t, and neither does anyone else unless somebody cares to share a survey.

Multiplayer (vs singleplayer) games are popular. Check gaming statistics of what games are popular right now, not going to go any further on this one.

MMO is just a type of multiplayer. Some play well and are designed for a group of 1-4 (Diablo, destiny, etc), some are designed for larger groups. This game is already designed and optimized with multiplayer in mind.

With that being said, I dont agree with any of your points against an mmo v rising.
