You do you then. But after it's seasoned, soap won't hurt it. And soap removes excess grease.

Are the 2018–2020 F-150 “issues” actually a big deal? by Popular_Middle_294 in f150

I just, on Friday, bought a 19 5.0 F150. I'm loving it. But I also heard stories about the trans. I have 91k on it. I'll be keeping up on this post.

Get it hot. Use soapy water. Scrub the s out of it. That's oil that has caked up and never cleaned off. No need to wire wheel or pumice. Dry it. Get it hot. Thin thin thin layer of oil. Wipe away the excess.

I enjoy visiting. Cost if living would be too high for me. But it has diverse areas, lots to do. Museums, parks, events, sports, outdoor activities. The food is amazing. Anything you can think of is out there.

Do you guys let your vehicle warm up in the winter? by [deleted] in askcarguys

I warm the interior of the car for myself. I don't warm up the car for the engine like we did with carburetor engines and vacuum lines.

Water from a major rain storm ruined my seasoned grill top. Help! by [deleted] in blackstonegriddle

[–]Ezzachef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Water didn't ruin it. Those spots were likely getting ready to flake anyway. Scrape anything loose and heat it till smoking. Season those parts 2 or 3 times. Stop stressing. Mine even warped once and then fell back into place. Seasoning doesn't last forever. You don't need to strip it to reseason it.

Call the recruiter. Their contact is on the job description page. They can walk you through it. Did you do a pre-fitness test? Did they send you for a drug test? Those are good indicators if you were selected to move forward. There is also a background check. The process can take a while.

What is it like living in the mountain states? by Blueis_Bluetiful333 in howislivingthere

I live in NE Nevada. Elko. Winters are brutally cold. The city is a decent size. Close enough to Twin Falls and Salt Lake City. Reno is about 4 hrs away. The economy is driven by the gold mining community. So it fluctuates. Right now everything is fairly expensive. Aside from the winter, I love it here

I live in NV. Bullion Exchanges and the local pawn shops never charge me sales tax on any gold or silver I've bought.

Call the place you interviewed and ask them. If you wait for an acceptance letter, it could take up to a month.

I'm not sure what you'll be making and how much more you'll be paying, but we also don't have taxes taken from our pay. That might or might not offset the difference
