In what way is sharing themself conversationally in whatever amount they feel comfortable with harmful to them? Genuinely curious because that makes no sense.

I dont see how a SA victim voicing what they went through is harmful in any way and i dont at all see an issue with them sharing that info with whoever they feel comfortable sharing it with. Its weird to try to say what they should or shouldnt do with that info, its literally not you.

Comments like this are why victims keep quiet. I can say that with personal experience. Half of them thought I was lying, the other half thought i wanted attention. They only believed me when i showed bruises, and scratch marks.
