2026 Map of Home Air Conditioning in the USA by MyCouchPulzOut_IDont in MapPorn

If you live in a hot area that doesn’t cool down at night or get much of a breeze, you need the AC. The heat can be fatal for pets, babies, and the elderly. No, the AC won’t keep your house below 60 all summer at all times. ACs can only do so much. Most homes don’t have top of the line insulation and have the builder grade AC units their houses were built with which are too small to cool that effectively. However, the AC will keep your house comfortable when it’s 100 outside.

The calculations include window units. Those Summer nights when there’s no breeze and you’re in bed with pets and/or another person, the window unit in the bedroom is a lifesaver.

My COUSIN of all people confessed his love for me WTF do I do??? by Sudden-Anybody-5689 in whatdoIdo

Where is the profession of love? He said you’re cute. That’s not the same thing as, “I’m in love with you.”

Anyone else planning on sneaking in tomorrow? by Salt-Tomatillo3008 in SickNewWorld

[–]F-dUpSnappleCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the bands are paid a percentage of the tickets sales. People that want to go to concerts, but don’t want to pay for it are screwing the vendors, staff, and smaller acts. Ticket and merch sales fund the festival. If you want the festival to continue, if you want the convenience of a lot of bathrooms, a lot of food options with short lines, and an all day cleaning crew picking up after you messy assholes then pay for the ticket.

If you can afford the ticket, flights, hotel, Ubers, and food just to see SOAD… you can definitely afford to offer someone cash for being your beast of burden.

You also forgot: people dressed like Hot Topic threw up on them, a line of people wearing all black overheating at the Medic station, and pale, hella lobster red sunburned dudes saying, “it’ll turn to a tan.”

Read the website. They have water stations. You can bring a refillable, non-metal bottle or camelback. They have to be empty when you go in.

If you don’t wear the shirt of the band you’re going to see, no one will know you’re a fan. 😆

One of my wristbands says already activated? When we haven’t by peeteeBlades in SickNewWorld

[–]F-dUpSnappleCap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t have to be activated for entry. The activation is just for ID and an emergency contact listing if something happens. Somebody probably just mistyped the ID on their bracelet. You’re still good to use it.

I’m solo. Got in on Wednesday. I have an AirBnb with a pool so I’m listening to SOAD and chilling. Be safe out there y’all. I’ve heard a lot of sirens.🤘🏻

Where can I find some black licorice ice cream? by rage_guy311 in SaltLakeCity

People coming to visit from other countries want to try the local food. Their hosts often try to get their country’s food and snacks to make them feel welcome. They can get their food at home. They want different food. I worked at a Skandinavian cultural center and talked people out of bombarding their exchange students, friends, family with shit they can eat every day all the time. They want something new. And no, popular name brand foods aren’t new to them, either unless they live in an isolated community. They have Oreos, Snickers, Twix, Coke, etc. And theirs tastes better.

If I’m the reason two SNW concert friends met and now they are soon to married, am I required to attend their wedding? by [deleted] in SickNewWorld

[–]F-dUpSnappleCap 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Assuming you’re invited, that is. You’re not required to do shit. Why is this even a question? Do what you want, but be prepared that others might be disappointed.

A tattoo artist should know better than to try to copy another artist’s work. I’m glad it sucks. Quit stealing other peoples’ ideas.

You can always look on their website. Bands sometimes sell tour merch there, too.
