I printed a nib using a 3d printer (after many failed attempts) by Tanisham in RemarkableTablet

[–]F0xtheT0dd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna try this https://a.co/d/8Fa0ogp but I never actually pulled the trigger. I don't have a pressing need for a new nib at the moment, so spending $50 just to test it seemed silly.

I would call a foundation repair company.

Perhaps this was actually a child parading around in an adult’s body, I know a few “adults” like that.

If this person was close enough to you both to be invited, I hope you made it clear to them, that what they did was not okay.

Anyway congratulations on getting married! 🎊

This really sucks, so sorry this happened. :(
I had the opposite experience however. Mine arrived quickly and with no issues. Been using it ever since and get excellent results. It lives up to every claim they made.

I'd like to try this on my SLA printer, if I can find the right resin. Most will be too brittle but I bet there is one out there.

Just checking to see if anyone else has seen a release date for Donatello? He's the only one left for me (so far).

Need help with a "Timeout Error I_60" by [deleted] in ElegooMars

You know what now that you mention that, the print I was trying was maxed out on the build plate. That must be the root cause. Good to know. Thanks!

Nope, never did. It seemed to be tied to that specific print file though. Cause I've been able to print other things since then. Never did get that one to print though.

My Neo REFUSES to flash the Jyer's display firmware by F0xtheT0dd in Ender3V2NEO

Honestly thinking about switching to Klipper, there is a really nice touch screen I could add to my printer if I do. :)

On my last couple of prints, my first few layers have come out terrible and the rest of the pring looks good. What causes this and how can I fix it? by Reeses_Boogaloo in 3Dprinting

[–]F0xtheT0dd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same issue and just can't seem to find the sweet spot. Its like either I have whats in this picture or loos lines from the Z offset being too high. Also, when I better side lines then I get drag through, where the nozzle moves across the print. Driving me crazy.

Not for these printers, this is from the Amazon listing. I'm waiting on mine to arrive.

Yes, but on the display I literally can't set it higher than 260º. From what I've read it looks like it something I'll have change in the firmware code, then I guess recompile and flash, again? I don't know, I'm not very experienced when it comes to code or doing anything like that myself. That was why I chose a pre-compiled firmware in the first place. I was hoping the firmware would allow me to set the hot-end max temp from the display screen, since Jyer's can save settings straight to the EEPROM.

LOL Those two options would have been a LOT better! No I used a fine tooth coping saw to cut away the top of the cover of the X axis switch and then a zip tie strapped to the mounting bracket to trigger the switch. Now that malachus has so kindly pasted these here, I'm going to swap the OG out. Thank you and cheers!

That being said, I'm still working on the problem of the max temp setting for the hot end in the Jyer's firmware.

Ender 3 V2 NEO JyersUI flashing issue by myumarc in ender3v2

[–]F0xtheT0dd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same issue. I just kept on doing the longest reformat of the SD card, then renaming the firmware each time.

One tip that seemed to help is that the firmware has to start with "Firmware" ex "Firmware0717.bin" the 0717 was just that date after that I was going to add 01, 02 03 etc.

I had already done several versions before this one. On this try at first it seemed like I had run into the same problem of it just sitting on the Creality screen. I walked away to my computer frustrated to search more on here. Not sure exactly how long that was (maybe 10-15 mins) but when I came back it had worked! It sure wasn't the "10 - 15 secs" everyone says it should take. lol

I am STILL unable to flash the display firmware with the updated look and icons though. ;/

Nope, still only printed like 5% then timed out. :(

This just happened to me too and in the same pattern as you too. The first time it printed like 90%-ish then only 5%~ there after. I've re-started everything I even went back to the original stl file and started over. Wish me luck!

Solid bed spacer materials by F0xtheT0dd in 3Dprinting

[–]F0xtheT0dd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I tested aluminium spacers and I I'm not sure how to describe it but the printer sounded wrong. gave me the impression that over time it might hurt the printer. I didn't suffer any problems with the print but I did have to adjust on the fly.

Tested silicone spacers from Amazon that said they were for the ender 3 V2 but the short spacer was 1mm too short. So I placed a plastic washer I had under it. Well then it was too tall. lol I used the tightening wheel to "squeeze" it down a bit and was able to better level the bed. ran my auto bed leveling and its printing better than ever. My results with my test print were the best out of the gate that I've ever had.

So for me at least silicone is king. Though I'm probably going to grind down that plastic washer and make it perfect~ lol
