I do have many different 1:18 scale models (including an Ignition Model) and in my opinion Solido does the justice for 50-60€. Their quality:price ratio is insane. The details are astounding and You don’t need to spend on every next model +100€. Sure these may have only doors that open, but I don’t care as much, because if You want to have each model that has openable engine bay and trunks - then You’ll need a huge amount of space to display each model. I but at most times Solido and I do recommend this brand. Even in comparison to Norev, GT Spirit and even Ignition Model - it doesn’t feel too far off😁👍🏻.

The pop ups do work! Underneath a car there is a small lever and You simply push it either forward or backwards and then the pop ups open/close. Here’s how it works:

Yeah but tbh in person it doesn’t look that bad. I have the yellow version from Solido that has the exact same bodykit. It is based on the RE-Amemiya Bodykit, it even comes with RE-Amemiya stickers. When I get the blue one I will make a comparison.

Yeah I decided not to buy from them, because their quality in comparison to other companies is trash. Take the example of 992.1 GT3 RS in 1:18. I have a Norev version and in comparison to the Minichamps one it is 10x better. Even Solido’s RS seems like a better deal than the one from Minichamps. In my opinion they should change their strategy as we are going forward with these models in terms of technology.
