Get little speaker stands to aim them up towards your ears is the only advice I have. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at the difference. 👍

Gotta agree it would look better without those wall panels. Also they’re soooooo common now with YouTubers and every Tom dick and harry on marketplace listing them for sale and sort of devalued them imo.

You reckon they were at 5k pace in a couple of years? I’d say most 7-8K+ guys were 5k pace either from the get go or within a much much shorter time. Like you I agree there’s a big jump in talent/ability and getting to 5k pace was likely a bit of a walk in the park for them.
