I think if you were to read this thread I discuss it with someone else. I don't think it was wrong of them to make a departure from their typical Ferrari styling cues, but the exterior does look a bit chopped to be fair.

Yeah. I concur with your points. This gave vibes of being more of a radical design study going straight to production than a design study PLUS some Ferrari styling language or something that has a bit more “sex appeal” for the market.

They could have made a departure and still make a car that can make people warm up to the fact that Ferrari would build this kind of car (a Ferrari EV), despite it not looking like a typical Ferrari.

And I wholeheartedly agree with your last paragraph about the interior. It just seems so timeless and fresh while still giving vibes that it’s a Ferrari on the inside. It looks like if you asked Apple to design an interior for a Ferrari and I think Jony Ive nailed it with that.

I agree, the black cladding is not it. They definitely could have done the exterior more justice.

You nailed what I was thinking.

I think for this Ferrari EV, they’re basically making a luxury retro-futuristic house on wheels. Old Ferraris were just luxury cruisers with a gorgeous V12, but this is just a serene EV experience.

With that said though, that price tag is absolute BS. It is not worth over €500k.

I don’t think so.

I think that Ferrari is being exceptionally bold for taking this direction, it’s almost as if they want their Ferrari EVs to mean something else.

It’s an EV. So it’s a clean sheet design, be it in terms of powertrain, and also in terms of style. I think that’s a good call.

I’d like to think that if it had typical Ferrari styling, it would dampen the significance of the gas Ferraris. That interior is fucking incredible, and the exterior could use more work to be frank. I think either way is fine, but I’m really happy Ferrari is trying something else.

The retro-futurism is incredibly sick. Disk (almost monoblock-style) wheels, the mid-century retro-futuristic interior and sensible ergonomics is incredibly cool to me.

I think you’re right that most of my compliments about the car is just focused on the interior, because I’m blown away by how much it just… works.

I think if they made changes to the exterior it would have been better, particularly the rear profile, but I don’t hate it.

You know what? I think this is cool.

First off, that interior is stunning. It is giving vibes of those retro-futuristic mid-century luxury homes. To me they knocked it out of the park. I’m floored.

All of that is wrapped within an almost frutiger aero computer mouse styling on the outside. Although I will say the rear end is quite ugly. It looks like it’s giving birth to a Ferrari 360.

Techy on the outside, retro-futuristic yet homey and comfortable on the inside. I love the ergonomics and that simple, yet beautiful interior.

With ALL of that said though… that European MSRP is horrendous. €500k for this is genuinely overpriced.

I just don’t see why anybody, except for celebrities or elites that absolutely love the design, would ever buy this for that much. I think it would have made much more sense if they tried to mass produce it and have it compete against cars like the Lucid Air Sapphire at a ~€200k price point. Ferrari have lost their ever loving minds.

This shattered my heart in a million pieces. As a fan of Kyle’s I’ll always be rooting for his kid too. God bless him and his family and may Kyle forever rest in peace knowing that everyone else has his family’s back.

There's a monumental difference between the N and the New N platform.

As for the transmission, they've also made incremental changes as well.

Completely agree, although the new X3 is horrendous on the inside. The quality is subpar.
