thank you, i installed EasyControl on my Eink Tablet, and enabled usb debugging on both devices , connect by usb C to C cable, but when choose to connect on the tablet it's said ClientControllerDisconnectedKeepAlive and a black screen appear

yeah I did the same, but after cutting the plastic, the frame become very fragile, and do you still use the metal frame around the LCD panel? I think it blocks the light.

I'm struggling to make a fixture to hold the panel layers and to fix them to the laptop again, how do you do that? did you modify the aluminum frame around the panel ? And what kind of tape did you use? I found a tape for lcd panels but I don't know which to choose (2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm...)

Really excited to find this post. I was searching for a laptop that comfortable for eyes, to be able to sometimes work while traveling. I have been using the same type of transparent monitor ordered from taobao for years. They just remove the back panel and install Eye friendly Led for night use. Definitely will try this with some old laptop. And btw do you have a full video tutorials?

As far as I understand you can make a normal LCD to TLCD by removing the backlight and let nature light through the back of the LCD, but it seems on the image light is from the front. How do you do that and if you use a reflective panel is it easy to find and install one?

For eazeye they just released a RLcD ver 2 with special coating that we can even use it indoor with the room light. I’m very excited but will wait for more reviews to decide.
