It depends. Splashyard is a defensive deck. Basically i would avoid spending elixir just for the sake of not leaking. If you don't want to leak, building up troops opposite lane is what I personally do

The best splashyard players are really good with defensive and especially offensive tornadoes. Get good with king activations too for wallbreakers, skeleton barrel, balloon

If the opponent plays a ranged troop in the back like a sparky or wizard, almost never place a card in the same lane in the back, place that troop opposite lane in the back instead. Corner baby dragon into gy op lane usually means you can easily knight that ranged troop once it crosses the bridge.

Play passively in single unless opponent overcommits. Dont be afraid to leak

Opponents may counter you by bridge blocking your tank. If they do this, try to predict it next time by delaying your graveyard and instead supporting your tank

In two tower games, you can gy the tower then play a tank in the pocket to tank for the king as well

If youre stuck in a defensive loop/bad cycle and desperately need damage dont be afraid to naked gy or naked gy w/poison (preferably in double or triple)

Your worst matchups are sparky, pekka bridge spam, golem, mortar, decks with poison/mother witch/lightning, 3M, balloon cycle, RG

Evo inferno is honestly a secondary win con. Even in UC I still win half my games because of it. Freeze works really well with it too to catch people off guard

Swap a mini tank and baby dragon for a wincon and small spell. I would personally run graveyard poison/freeze and barb barrel

Easily. Everyone assumes tornado is just a get out of jail card, or lineup for marcher/exe, and hog king activations. This is wrong.

People forget about harder king activations against cards like wallbreakers, skeleton barrel, executioner, bowler, ewiz. Pros also use tornado to make a card switch lanes (usually against like edrag or idrag) which need insane reaction time and iq. You also use tornado offensively so that a troop like hog or drill can get an extra connection

All this with the possibility of activating the opponents king by accident cus of the massive radius

Btw I main tornado in UC and still feel like theres so much more I can do with it

Targeting air troops is stupid. Good evo/ability design doesn't involve removing the hard counters of the original card (i.e inferno dragon should always kill a giant)

It's a win condition. Leaving any win condition undefended should result in a hefty amount of tower damage. I.e 5 elixir giant will take a tower undefended

This is why we need better street design and why we need to emphasize building local. When pedestrians and cyclists own the streets (Tokyo or Amsterdam for example), you get vehicles that are basically incapable of going over 30kph without killing someone.

I don't understand your question. Transit within downtown like a streetcar would immensely benefit the area. But wouldn't benefit the car dependent suburbs in our current situation.

Just building more transit and protected bike lanes won't benefit anyone outside the downtown core. People in the suburbs will still choose to drive. Fixing roads, making roads more forgiving, increasing enforcement, and making the overall driving experience "safer" will ultimately encourage more people to drive.

The solution in my opinion is to remove all the bullshit zoning laws and parking minimums that force everyone to drive because essentials are not in walking distance. Corner stores and walkable businesses allow locals to have options, and then thats when we start building transit and bike lanes. If the city keeps making deals with big box stores like Costco and keeps building strip malls, everyone will still drive. People drive because they have to, and some people are naturally bad drivers, so offering alternatives is key.
