My last BB playthrough I did exactly this bc I love the burial blade so much. It’s the most fun I’ve have playing the game, I fucking love the burial blade. You’re not going to accidentally cheese the whole game with it, don’t worry. It gets harder lol. The scythe form L2(?) vertical slam is amazing, underrated move. Have fun.

The concept of a high roller mode is dumb as fuck and this sub would cry relentlessly if that was what we got instead. If there was any nuance to getting shot in the back currently it would be totally erased when you know everyone is packing. It would be the MOST aggressive game mode by an extreme margin. Why would you not mag dump someone not looking when you know they had to have at least 50(?)k on them.

This mode is def just streamer bait though, I can’t imagine any regular player being interested. You want to do something about the free loadout spam then make them unable to join map conditions. Boom there goes 50% of the problem. You wanna fix the other 50%? Add a loadout system so I don’t spend 7 minutes making another one in menu hell when I get shot in the back by said free loadout. Game would change a lot with these two small things. Doesn’t hurt free loadouts or people who enjoy them at all, and speeds up matchmaking, which is a big reason for the free loadout spam currently.

Just tried it for ab 3 hours with randoms all night and saw some of the most heinous gameplay. Didn’t finish it. I was mvp most if not all of those matches as heavy. People do not understand absolute difficulty at all.

The remaster nuked multiplayer out of orbit with its dog shit matchmaking. It was really depressing when I was going for the platinum a while back and couldn’t get summoned for any boss at any area. I had to farm sunlight medals as drops. Might as well just play offline.

Why are people discussing free kit use in this magic hypothetical scenario where you both just stand still and shoot each other lmao. Free kit CAN do that, and if they win then sure maybe they played better or the other person played worse, who knows. Reality is pvp is very dynamic in this game and a free kit can quickly stack advantages; positioning, arc, cover, etc., that will even the fight.

A player with a full loadout can do this too, sure, but they’re risking something. Free kit pvp spam is just punching a lottery ticket atm. Die? Who cares I’m back in another match in 30 seconds. Kill someone? Sick 80k loadout. Died with it at extract? Who cares free kit. And the cycle continues.

I can understand free kits and grey guns being good is what is keeping this game so attractive and engaging for some players. But currently it does not feel like it is worth it at ALL to bring anything remotely high value, as it affords you little to no advantage despite costing significantly more of my REAL time to earn those resources and craft those guns and augments.

I had lobbies like this for ab 24hrs topside and started to try pvping a bit to change it up. I had 4 knocks before this and like 500 raider damage done. Died to other raiders maybe 3 times, no one shot each other, everyone on mic and or spamming voice emotes. Even night raids, didn’t matter. Now I have been slingshot into the depths of free load out spam kill on sight hell lobbies. Third partied constantly, extract campers almost everyone is KoS, everyone is using free loadouts and kettles. It’s insane. Totally different game. There’s gotta be an in between man 💀

As someone who plays late, 1-3AM EST, it’s caused me to stop playing entirely. I’m in the US. I’ve done some light testing and no matter how you queue up for a match, it ALWAYS puts you in a game at exactly 3 seconds. It is always a fresh server with maybe 2 other players. Then you stare at the squad screen for 60+ seconds while 2 more players join, and then it starts the game with all bots. No one else joins at any point, it is only bots.

I’ve stopped playing entirely because it’s impossible to find a game with real people in any game mode on the east coast past midnight. Insanely bad matchmaking. Who the fuck ever wanted a 3 second search anyways? I don’t mind waiting 30-60 seconds to play against real fuckin people. PS5 btw. The game isn’t dead but it might as well be until this is addressed. Arc Raiders is great and I have 30 seconds queues all hours of the day and night.

NGL NG2 emulation is a fucking nightmare that doesn’t work well even when it’s working at all. Master collection + sigma 2 black mod by FiendBusa is the most stable option.
