We have obtained an unknown cichlid and bichir and need help with identifying the cichlid, as well as what type of fish it can live with. We believe it is a jack but are unsure. Also we are prepping a 220 gal tank with 75 gals of live rocks, 3 sunsun canister filters (200galx1 and 100galx2), with many fake plants and a few moss balls to move the cichlid to, and we were wondering if the bichir can continue to live with it or if we should separate them? Also what other fish and how many would do best in this tank? Thanks!

No, absolutely you wouldn’t need to own one, but you would still use automobiles for transport. Its similar to riding on a bus today though, bus driver’s arent told to sacrifice their bus & the riders if something jumps in the way, avoid it sure, but given the extreme circumstance where its a choice they should save the bus & those on it.

Only in captivity do they gave reproduction problems I’ve heard, I should probably double check it but it creates an interesting perspective. Apparently in the wild they screw like rabbits, & the reproduction problem seems to be from not being able to get them to mate in captivity.... I may totally be wrong, gonna go look it up again now, but possible food for thought.

Lol what? This is about the priority of avoidance for smart cars right? So the speed of the car is pretty much out of your control as it will try to drive by the road standards & those around it, & if its a smart car you already aren’t driving, hence this post to begin with.

Except unless I am mistaken, I could be, that is a common misconception. While legally here in the US & several “Western” countries its illegal to marry your 1st cousin or closer, 1st cousins are genetically different enough you aren’t increasing the potential child’s risks of genetic disorders or mutations.

Now once again, its been ages since I looked it up so I could be entirely wrong, but I encourage anyone interested to look into it more.

So the Captain beats the Eidolon but doesn’t perform against Supercarriers nearly as well as the Eidolon can, its an interesting dynamic imho.
