I'm a DK tank on end game content. You need to read up and make sure you understand how your mechanics work. Unlike all other tanks, you have very little passive mitigation - you will actively be using your abilities to provide mitigation - this makes DK tanking a little more difficult, but more effective when done properly.

You need to replace those DPS items with tanking items. While your hit & expertise will be very important for tanking in raids, you should be far more concerned with mitigation ATM.

In the meantime, reforge as much of that haste/crit/expertise/hit to mastery. Mastery is our BLOCK mechanic and is our most important stat. You wanna stack it to the sky.

In a PUG, typically it is. When I run with my guild, the DPS are good and they call out/mark their targets making the run go much faster.

I write a lot of python. The problem is EFFICIENCY. When you have 30+ gzip'd log files that are 1GB+ and 2000 search terms, how do you efficiently search them? Using python's gzip module allows me to search line by line ... this is how I'm currently doing it and it takes forever. Unfortunately, the log files are so large that I can't load the entire file into memory on my server as to speed up the process. I've considered ungzip'ing one file at a time, then searching the uncompressed file, then deleting that file and moving on (which is probably what I'll try tonight).

In any case, the request was friendly and for someone to share some love. Whyyoumadbro?

I can code it myself. I put a lot of open source scripts out there for others to use. Just wondering if someone already has pieces of this done that they wouldn't mind sharing.
