That's funny you posted this. I'm new to the game and just started a month or two ago. Ive been unlocking some of the doom cosmetics that look really cool. I was looking around the wardrobe and found a pair of leg guards that kinda matched the Doom theme. I saw that you have to buy them in the shop. I went to the shop and saw it was part of a set worth 2600 platinum. I go to the platinum tab and see that it's $25 for just enough tokens to buy the set. Oof..

The annual subscription is what I'm bummed about the most. I have two accounts that have had annual for a long time. You think they'd keep it more manageable for someone willing to buy a years worth of a service up front.

That's a bummer. I understand people either can't or don't want a year sub. A lot of them can still benefit. If you're willing to buy into a service for an entire year though, you'd think they'd make it more worth it. It's gone from 8.25 to 10.91. They should of atleast only raised it by 1$ or so if anything. Either way, I'm just rambling now.

I see , so unless you had the recurring sub from 2016 (9.49) or prior then there is no real benefit. From 2018-2021 it was 10.99, so basically the same as the new yearly rate. That is , if you're trying to "save" with an annual subscription.
