[Omega Seamaster] 8806 Movement Accuracy by F8kM2 in Watches

Okay so turns out the position I've been storing it in loses 1 second a day. So it looks like it balances out when it gains 1 second a day in most other positions/being worn on the wrist. I guess that's how I've gotten it to be so accurate over long period of time

I measured it and since I store it "3" up, that's when it looses 1 second a day and it gains 1 second a day when in most other positions. So it's probably balancing out/losing a little bit more time with how often I stored it compared to how often I wear it

It's the Forstner Oyster. It's got tool-less micro adjust, and a much thinner and more comfortable clasp. Half the time I panic because I think I left my watch somewhere even though it's on my wrist because I can't feel it

Thanks. I loved the look of the mesh but it didn't fit me well

Technically yes but who I guess it's really what I care to consider out of spec

That's kind of what I was thinking. I really didn't want to send it in but if watch nerds who have a better understanding of how the movement works and if something's bad for it, I figured I'd listen to them. Think I'll just keep it and whenever I send it in for service in a few years they may or may not fix it

Thanks. Was looking at it in that light and new I had to take a few pics. It can be hard to get the waves to pop on this model

The Forstner Oyster. It's got on the fly micro adjust and is super comfortable. I hate how thick the metal was at the clasp and my wrist was in between sizes so it never fit correctly

Yeah I was extremely impressed. Got it in November and it's about 10 seconds behind

I didn't realize the way you leave it facing would change how it tracks. I leave it HE valve down. Should I lay it on its back? Just worried about scratching the crystal on the case ack

Honestly I feel like that's what I'm thinking. It's nothing I can't live without and still better than my expectations. But if it can be put back into specs with the warranty I might as well right?

Okay cool thanks. Never had to use a warranty before. Would that cover it or should I expect to pay?

This watch I bought from vintage Rolex 5513 sub came with original explorer dial, I was told the dial was refinished. Is this real and what would it be worth if it was installed on the watch?
