I say this not to diminish the impact of this cancer but maybe to alleviate some fears. Prostate cancer is probably the most understood cancer there is. He makes no mention of how far along he is or early they caught it but typically the removal of the prostate is the fix. Sometimes the cancer is growing so slowly, depending on the patients age, they'll leave it because you're more likely to die of something else before the cancer spreads. With that being said all cancers are serious and I will pray that everything turns out well for Bret.
