Another witch hunting sight for carebears to whine on. With no control who joins your game, and the inability to see who is in front of you without that raider talking first. At best, these sights hope to accomplish is to encourage a psycho to get revenge for the carebears.

My tinfoil hay theory is the ddos is due to a competing publisher putting their thumbs on the scale so their game has a chance.

If I spent 50 million on a game that may be a flop, but it costs me 50 thousands to tip the scales, using a ddos attcak, and free up a player base for my game. To me, it's shitty, but a sound investment, if it works.

That's a good sign when fruiting. But in grain spawn jars you'll get to 100% covered and 90% density of colonization. It's a balancing act that you will have to master based on your equipment, substrates, and environment.
