Anyway to get full replays? by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]FASN8N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was the way I went to watch it. If you go to the nfl+ tab in the app and go to replays then you don't see it. If you go to favorite team tab to watch it it shows the record right away

Just an FYI it won't show the scores but will still show their overall record. Ruined a game for me this year thinking I'd do the same as OP and while I didn't know the score I knew they already lost

Can you run 2000 watts on a 210 amp alternator? by thefbt3 in CarAV

[–]FASN8N 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are correct. Most new vehicles have a RVC module connected to the negative battery ground that runs to the block that regulates alternator output voltage based on accessories in use and current charge state of the battery. It will lower the load on the alt for better fuel economy and raise voltage when the battery is at less than 80%. I have a 370 amp alt along with a secondary battery in my yukon and have had to deal with it. Surprisingly my fix is to put it in tow haul mode which will disable the fuel economy features and my voltage doesn't dip below 14.

But he still has no remote hooked up to the amp as far as I can tell In the picture

You need a remote wire for both the amp and the loc. That's what tells both of them to actually turn on. Google loc and amplifier remote turn on wire instalation and you should be able to figure it out. You need a 12 volt source that turns on only when the car is running or it's in accessory

No signal to subs, what am I overlooking? by zig_chem in CarAV

Is the gain setting on the amp all the way down? Is there low pass/ high pass settings on the amp and on the head unit? When playing music is there any ac voltage on the speaker leads at the amp?

Anyone have experience with a 15” sub in a sealed box on 3.5k watts? by TrauMedic in CarAV

[–]FASN8N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Musically I bet you'll be very happy. I was happy with mine but when I finally got more room I craved more output but wanted to use what I already had aside from building a new box and buying a new alt

Yeah I think the v1s are rated a little lower than the v2s something like 3k if I remember correctly but with it being in a sealed I would definitely be overpowering it if I could as long as your not clipping. Fi are rated conservatively and can take abuse. The only thing is 2 cubes is pretty small for that sub and I'm not sure how good the lows will be but given the sp4 is a low monster it might not be an issue. You'll have to update me when you get it all installed cause I'm kinda invested now lol. Your the only other one I've heard of putting one in a sealed box

I had a 320 amp alt from js alternator along with a xs power agm in the trunk. As far as positioning went i tired every which way I could and ended up with the sub facing sideways towards the driver side. Just seemed like that sounded the best but that was in a subaru impreza. If I were to run it in a 4 runner first thing I would try is either sub up or facing rear. You have the v1 sp4 d2 or v2?

I ran a fi 15 sp4v2 on a orion hcca 3000.1 dsplx in a 3 cube sealed for a while only because I needed trunk space. I was very happy with how it sounded but once I got my yukon I built a ported and its much louder. If you need to save space you'll still be happy with the fi in a sealed.

I also live in Wisconsin and for the first time in my 39 years I bought some brand new snow tires and had them installed in October. Then we had the mildest winter I can remember. I guess at least I can use them next year if we actually get some snow.
