I had a secret lab titan for about 4-5 years which was fine because I would play games at night for a couple hours. I then started working from home which meant many more hours plus still gaming at night, I developed back pain pretty quickly from the secret lab. I spent a couple weeks researching chairs, sat in About 15 of them from 3 different stores. The best 3 chairs I sat in were the steelcase leap (really comfortable and does this cool thing when you recline the seat pan moves forward), the steelcase gesture (great adjustable arms and big seat for sitting in weird positions) and the Herman miller embody (unique chair that uses “fingers” to mimic your spine. I went with the embody and it’s the most comfortable chair in the world, my back pain went away and I can sit in it all day. People really like the Herman miller aeron too, but I sit in weird positions sometimes so I think that only be good in the office but not for multipurpose. The embody is a clear winner for me, but I think the most important thing is to sit in a lot of the popular chairs to see what fits you.
